Base Class: Monk
Warriors of Flowing Water seek to hone their defensive abilities. They take inspiration from the way that rivers and streams weave around obstacles in their path and are able to erode even the largest of boulders overtime.
Reflection
If both hands are free you gain the following benefits:
- You can add your proficiency modifier and 1 martial arts dice when calculating damage reduction from Deflect Attacks
- You can deflect objects of a size equal to your own but cannot spend FP to make an attack roll using that object if the damage is reduced to 0.
- When you use your reaction to Deflect Attacks, you can spend 1 FP to deflect a number of attacks equal to the number of bonus attacks you can make when you use Flurry of Blows.
Equalization
- When you use Deflect Attacks on an attack from a creature within your reach and reduce the damage to 0, the attacking creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Monk Focus Save DC or be disarmed of their weapon. This doesn’t affect attacks using natural weapons such as unarmed strikes, bites, claws, etc.
- Deflected attacks can now deal magic damage for the purpose of overcoming resistances to non-magical attacks
Fluidity
- Opportunity Attacks against you are always made at disadvantage
- Your movement is no longer affected by magical or non-magical terrain
Calm Before Storm
Calm: As an action, you can increase your AC by an amount equal to your wisdom modifier until the beginning of your next turn. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. Expended uses of this ability are regained after every long rest.
Storm: Gain an extra reaction that can only be used to Deflect Attacks
