Invoke Legends

At 3rd level, you gain access to your Scroll of Legends, a physical manifestation of your knowledge of heroes and myths. This scroll, which can act as your Spellcasting Focus, is able to fold myth and legend into reality through both your magic and your inspiring presence.

While you are holding your Scroll of Legends, you can use a Bonus Action and expends a Bardic Inspiration Die to roll on the table below. The determined outcome causes your Scroll of Legends to transform into a glittering legendary object and grant you both its Ability & Skill Bonuses. These Bonuses allow you to add your Bardic Inspiration Die to every roll you make with the selected skills while their Legend is active without expending the Bardic Inspiration. Legends remain active until your next Long rest, until you expend a Bardic Inspiration to reroll, or until you have the Unconscious condition.

You have the spell Identify prepared at all times and it does not count against your number of Prepared Spells. This version of Identify is enhanced in the following ways:

  • The spell can target items, creatures, and locations which it gives cursory knowledge over in addition to magical information. This information is at the discretion of the DM.
  • The range of the spell is now 30 feet & it does not require touch to cast.
  • You can expend a 1+ level spell slot to cast this spell as an Action.
