Base Class: Sorcerer
The Disco Soul Sorcerer channels the power of rhythm and melody, transforming the battlefield into a dance floor where magic syncs with music. With the Legend of the Ones and Twos, they weave cantrips into their spellcasting, offering protective harmonies and groovy defenses to their allies.
Legend of the Ones and Twos
Upon choosing this subclass at 1st level, you gain proficiency with musical instruments, which can be used as your spellcasting focus. Additionally, you learn the Dancing Lights and Minor Illusion cantrips if you don't already know them.
When you cast a spell at 1st level or higher, you can simultaneously cast a cantrip that doesn't deal damage as part of the same action. Doing so grants you and any allies within 30 feet a +1 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. (At level 14 the AC bonus goes up to +2, and at level 18 its a +3)
Groovy Guard
You learn the Blade Ward and Resistance cantrips. As a reaction, when you take damage, you can cast Blade Ward on yourself. Alternatively, you can cast Resistance on an ally within 30 feet as a reaction to them taking damage.
Let the Bass Drop
Once per long rest, when you cast a spell of 1st level or 2nd level, you can also cast Thunderwave at 5th level as part of the same action, without expending a spell slot.
Eternal Encore
Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you can make an initial Eternal Encore for 1 minute. During this time, you are freed from the effects of aging. This time, both Legend of the Ones and Twos and Groovy Guard become features you can use at will without expending their usual limits. Additionally, you are an amazing dancer and cannot be stopped while grooving. For the duration of this feature, you add your Charisma modifier to damage dealt with your spells that deal damage and subtract that same Charisma modifier from incoming damage.
Additionally, at the end of this minute, if you wish, you can instantly regain all your finished spell slots, but unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again.
