Base Class: Paladin
Oath of Life
The Oath of Life is a sacred vow taken by paladins who dedicate themselves to the preservation and sanctity of life in all its forms. These paladins are the guardians of the living, healers on the battlefield, and defenders of the weak. They see life as the most precious gift, one that must be protected at all costs. Their oath is a commitment to bring light and healing where there is darkness and suffering, to restore what has been lost, and to shield the innocent from harm.
Paladins who follow the Oath of Life believe that every life has value, and they strive to uphold the natural balance by preventing unnecessary death and destruction. They are often found on the front lines, not just as warriors, but as symbols of hope, using their divine powers to heal the wounded and resurrect the fallen. Their whole purpose is to grant an equal chance of life to every living being. This vow usually embodies people who have seen unimaginable suffering and death at an unparalleled scale, they would go beyond limits to honor life.
Such oath takers are mindful and grow a deep protective love for anyone. They are more than just warriors; they are a beacon of hope, a defender of the weak, and a living embodiment of the life`s relentless will to exist. Whether battling the forces of darkness or bringing aid to those in need, they are unwavering in their mission to uphold the sanctity of life.
Tenets of Life
A paladin who assumes the Oath of Life swears to safeguard all living beings, no matter how large or insignificant.
Preservation: Protect and preserve all life whenever possible. Death should be a last resort, and all efforts should be made to heal, protect, and guide others to safety.
Compassion: No matter how small or big, every life is worth it. All life matters and it`s existence represents an important element in the world.
Sanctity: Honor life in all forms. Treat the world and its creatures with reverence, and oppose those who seek to bring unnecessary harm or suffering.
Restoration: Strive to restore what has been lost—whether it be health, peace, or harmony. Where there is decay, bring renewal; where there is conflict, bring resolution. Death is not the end.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
-
Life’s Embrace: You present your holy symbol, radiating a powerful warm light filled with hope. As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to heal the living and revive the fallen. Choose any number of creatures within 30 feet of you. Each creature regains hit points equal to 2d6 + your Paladin level.
-
Shield of Mercy: Your instincts help you detect danger in advance. As a reaction, when a creature within 30 feet of you is about to take damage, you can use your Channel Divinity to bring forth a transparent barrier that reduces that damage by an amount equal to 2d8 + your Paladin level.

Aura of Vigor
Starting at 7th level, your presence radiates life and vitality within 10 feet of you. When a spell cast with a spell slot this turn restores hit points to a creature within this aura, or you use Lay on Hands on a creature, that creature regains additional hit points. The additional hit points equal 1d4 if it was a spell, or 1d4 for every 5 hit points expended from your Lay on Hands pool.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Blessed Restoration
At 15th level, you gain the ability to grant warm blessings. When you cast a healing spell or use the Lay on Hands Pool feature, the affected creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to 2d8 + your Charisma modifier. A creature cannot benefit from this feature if they already under the effect of Temporary Hit Points from another source.
Sentinel of Hope
At 20th level, you become an embodiment of life itself, radiating an aura of restoration and renewal. As an action, you can gain the following benefits for 10 minutes:
- Spectral wings sprout out of your back, gaining flying speed equal to your walking speed. The wings reflect your alignment in rays of light and hope. You can decide in what form the wings manifest and what color they take.
- Power of life is emanated constantly from you. You and friendly creatures within 30 feet of you regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) at the start of each of your turns.
- Your aura is instilled with so much vigor, your presence alone stalls death itself. You have advantage on death saving throws, and any creatures within your aura who are reduced to 0 hit points automatically stabilize.
- Those that threaten life are so insulting that it offends you. You can cast the Harm spell once as a bonus action, without expending a spell slot during this transformation.
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
