Monk
Base Class: Monk

The road to atonement is an arduous task; but you will persevere. Stand strong and allow the warmth of the Light to guide you towards redemption

Libero Ombra

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the Shield spell and it doesn't cost a spell slot while also counting as a known spell. This can be casted up to 3 times and all charges reset at Dawn.

Also at 3rd level, you gain access to the maneuver Shadowbreak:

As an action, you can make two attacks with your main weapon with the second hit costing 2 Focus Points. You must declare this before rolling to hit. Once the base damage of the Keyblade has been calculated, the first attack adds 1d4 Radiant damage. Roll to hit a second time and, as a Bonus Action, on a hit, add 1d4 Necrotic damage to the total damage of the second attack.

This maneuver can be done up to 2 times and all charges reset after a Short Rest.

Void Shift

Starting at level 6, you gain the spell Misty Step as a Monk spell. It does not cost a spell slot to cast and is always prepared. This spell can be casted up to 2 times and all charges are reset at Dawn.

Also at level 6, you gain access to the ability Dark Aura. As a Bonus action, after using your Action to attack, you can spend two Focus Points to send a black flame to an ally within 15ft of you and they gain an extra 2d4 Necrotic damage to their next attack roll.

Guiding Light

Starting at 11th level, you gain the spell Dimension Door. This does not cost a spell slot to cast and counts towards spells you know. This is always prepared and can be cast up to 2 times and all charges reset at Dawn.

Also at 11th level, all damage options that would cause or add Necrotic damage now cause Radiant damage.

Dawn's Arrival

At level 17, all forms of Radiant damage from your Keyblade are now improved by one die. (ex. Shadowbreaker's Radiant damage on the first hit is now 2d4 and is reapplied as 2d4 for the second hit)

Also at level 17, you gain access to your ultimate technique embracing the power of the Light; Bladecharge. As an action, you can expend 8 Focus Points to surround your blade with light energy, causing its damage to increase drastically as well as its reach to extend to 10ft. In this form, you can choose to attack in one of two ways:

  • Tri-Light Combo: You conduct two horizontal slashes and finish with a downward strike into the earth. This attack has a range of 10ft in a cone from your position.
  • Lightwinder: You spin your sword above your head three times. This attack has a range of 10ft in a circle around your position.

Both attacks do damage equal to 3d8 Slashing + 4d4 Radiant damage. However, if you choose to spend an additional 7 Focus Points, this can be increased to 3d8 Slashing + 7d4 Radiant.

This technique cannot be used again until a Long Rest.
