Monk
Base Class: Monk

Through your years of practice with martial arts as well as bladed weapons, you finally managed to turn your own body into a weapon equally as dangerous as the ones you wield. Your training has turned your body as hard as iron, but that is just the beginning.

Iron body technique

Through tireless training, your skin starts to harden into natural armor. Starting at 3rd level, your skin temporarily becomes as hard as steel, giving you the same protection as full plate armor. At the start of your turn, you may use 1 ki point to activate your Iron body technique as a bonus action, giving you temporary natural armor with an AC of 18 until the end of your next turn. The duration of this feature increases by 1 round at 6th, 11th and 17th to a maximum of four rounds

Iron Fist Technique

Your hardened body makes your strikes significantly more painful, rivaling the power of war hammers. Also at 3rd level, your unarmed strike deals an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage while you have you are using your Iron body technique. This damage increases to 1d8 at 11th level and 1d10 at 17th level.

Iron Blade Technique

Your body has become one with your weapon, to the point that you can imitate its effects. Starting at 6th level, while you are using your iron body technique, you can choose to deal 1d10 slashing damage with your unarmed strike instead of your normal martial arts die. This damage increases to 1d12 at 11th level and 1d20 at 17th level.

Steel Wind Slash

Now that youve forged your body into a blade, you can use it to extend the reach of your attacks like youve never imagined before. At 11th level you learn to use your bladed limbs to create wind attacks that reach far beyond normal bounds. whenever youre using your Bonus action to make an unarmed strike (including Flurry of Blows) you can expend an additional Ki point to make that attack at a range of up to 30 ft. This Wind Slash deals the same amount of damage as your normal martial arts die, but they deal slashing damage instead of bludgeoning.

Steel Typhoon Technique

As you reach the peak of your ability, your attacks become a force of nature. At 17th level, whenever youre using your Iron body technique, you can expend another 2 Ki points before your attack to give your unarmed strike attacks a reach of 40 ft. as you perform one or more of the following:

  • You thrust your hand forward, creating a wind lance that deals 2d6 piercing damage
  • You slash across the air, creating a wind slash that targets up to 3 creatures and dealing 1d10 slashing damage,
  • You spin, with your arms angled like a rotor, creating a whirlwind that deals 1d6 slashing damage to any targets in a radius of 15 ft.

The target or targets of your attack must also succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be pushed away from you up to 20 ft. and be knocked prone
