The Word and the Blade
3rd-level College of Roasts feature
You have a keen awareness of the personal nature of others. Whenever you observe an intelligent individual for two rounds, you may spend a charge of your Bardic Inspiration to give you or an ally advantage on one Charisma skill check related to the individual, or cause the individual to have disadvantage on their next Charisma saving throw.
You gain proficiency with all martial weapons.
Cutting Words
3rd-level College of Roasts feature
Your ability to insult others is enhanced by your magic. When a creature within 30 feet of you fails an attack roll, skill check, ability check, saving throw, or rolls minimum damage on an attack, you may use your reaction to spend a charge of your Bardic Inspiration to unleash a brutal string of insults paired with a magical charm at a creature you can see within range. If the target can hear you (though it need not understand you), it must succeed on a Charisma saving throw equal to your spell save DC or take 1d4 psychic damage and, the next ally to attack the creature gains advantage on their attack roll.
The damage of Cutting Words increases by 1d4 when you reach 6th level (2d4), 9th level (3d4), and 12th level (4d4).
Brutal Sledge
6th-level College of Roasts feature
Your insults can be used to effect an entire group. Once per long rest you may make a Bonus Action to use Brutal Sledge to unleash a brutal string of insults paired with a magical charm at a creature you can see 60 feet range. If the target can hear you (though it need not understand you), it must succeed on a Charisma saving throw equal to your spell save DC, or it places a demoralised token next to each of it’s allies within 30 feet.
When one of your allies makes an attack roll, skill check, or ability check against a creature with a demoralised token, they gain advantage on the roll, and then remove the demoralised token. When a creature with a demoralised token makes an attack roll, skill check, ability check, or saving throw, it gains disadvantage, and then remove the demoralised token.
At 12th level, the target of your Brutal Sledge gains disadvantage on it’s Charisma saving throw, and places an additional demoralised token on each of it’s allies within 30 feet.
At 15th level, you may use Brutal Sledge twice per long rest.
At 18th level, you double your proficiency bonus for the spell save DC of your Brutal Sledge.
Devastating Blow to Morale
14th-level College of Roasts feature
You can shatter someones self confidence with a word, a look, a scoff, or even a simple eyeroll. Once per long rest you can use your reaction to spend a charge of your Bardic Inspiration to make a magical Devastating Blow to Morale against a creature you within 60 feet of you (you need not see the creature, nor need the creature be able to hear or understand you). The creature must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save dc with disadvantage, or become stunned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
At 20th level, you double your proficiency bonus for the spell save DC of your Devastating Blow to Morale.
