Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Web embody the essence of arachnids, weaving through battles with the grace and precision of their eight-legged counterparts. Their movements are fluid, their strikes calculated, and their mastery of ki akin to the intricate webs spun by spiders. Like skilled weavers, they manipulate the battlefield with finesse, ensnaring foes and creating openings for swift strikes. Their agility knows no bounds as they zip effortlessly across obstacles, striking with venomous accuracy. In combat, they are the silent predators, striking from the shadows and vanishing without a trace.
Web Arts
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast Web, Ensnaring Strike, Jump, or Snare, without providing material components. Additionally, you gain the Thorn Whip and Mage Hand cantrip if you don’t already know it.
Web Zip
At 6th level, you gain the ability to zip around the battlefield with your webs. As a bonus action, you can move up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see so long as the path is unobstructed. While using this ability, you can squeeze through a space as narrow as 1 foot larger than your greatest width.
You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.
Web Technique
Starting when you choose this tradition at 11th level, you can manipulate your enemy’s ki when you harness your own. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
- It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn.
Healing Factor
At 17th level, you gain the ability to heal yourself. As an action, you can regain hit points equal to three times your monk level. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.
