Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of the Piper at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the flute and one additional musical instrument of your choice

Piper’s Companions

At 3rd level, you can use your music to summon and control small creatures. As an action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to summon a swarm of rats, bats, or other small creatures (DM’s discretion). The swarm remains for 1 hour, until it drops to 0 hit points, or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. The swarm obeys your commands and acts on your turn in combat.

Enchanting Melody

Starting at 6th level, your music can charm and control larger creatures. When you use your Bardic Inspiration to summon a swarm, you can choose to charm a beast or humanoid within 60 feet that can hear you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed, the creature regards you as a trusted friend and will follow your commands to the best of its ability.

Master Piper

At 14th level, your control over creatures becomes unparalleled. You can now summon two swarms simultaneously using one use of your Bardic Inspiration. Additionally, when you charm a creature with your Enchanting Melody, the duration increases to 10 minutes, and the creature has disadvantage on saving throws to resist your commands.
