Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Warrior of the Dragon Monk subclass provides you with a multitude of abilities that allow your character to feel truly draconic without needing to fully polymorph into a dragon. The subclass features a plethora of draconic abilities including bolstered defense, additional draconic damage and damage resistance, and a breath weapon. At later levels, you can even gain a fly speed and turn huge for a period of time. Features like these help your character to feel like a true dragon warrior!

Dragon's Claws

When you use your flurry of blows, you may deal additional damage with your unarmed strikes equal to your wisdom modifier until the start of your next turn. When you choose to deal this damage, you choose for the damage to be acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or slashing damage.

Draconic Resistance

You gain resistance to a damage type of your choice between acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. You may change the damage type you choose when you finish a short or long rest.

Dragon's Scales

When you use your patient defense feature, you also gain an additional +2 to your armor class and Dexterity saving throws.

Dragon's Breath

Once per turn, you may spend 1 focus point to replace one of your attacks with a breath weapon. The breath weapon has an area of your choice (centered on you) of a 15ft cone or a 5ft by 30ft line. Creatures within the area of your breath weapon must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw DC (8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or take your choice of acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison damage equal 3 rolls of your martial arts die + your Wisdom modifier. A creature that succeeds the saving throw takes half damage.

Dragon's Flight

You may now hover. Additionally, as a bonus action, you may spend 1 focus point to gain a fly speed equal to your speed for 1 hour. If you already have a fly speed from another feature or effect, you instead gain an additional 30ft of movement added to your fly speed only.

Dragon Manifest

As an action, you may spend 6 focus points to manifest your inner dragon and take on a draconic form. For 1 minute, you become huge and your armor class equals 19 or is increased by 2 (whichever is higher). Additionally, whenever you roll one or more martial arts dice for damage, you roll an additional martial arts die and add it to the damage. You also gain the adult dragon's Frightful Presence feature, which you may use as part of the attack action. The DC for your Frightful Presence ability is (8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). This transformation ends early if you are incapacitated. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
