Base Class: Barbarian
By forming a close bond with dragon you become it's protector and it, in turn, changes your very nature to be closer to that of a dragon granting you the ability to fuse with your dragon companion through the ancient art of the Messeji making you a foe to be feared by all.
The Messeji
As your rage climbs the boundaries between you and your dragon bond fall away allowing you to fuse achieving a form greater than the sum of its parts. Due to this ancient practice you become immune to the damage type representative of your dragon companion, gain a hover speed of 40ft and are able to use a breath weapon based on your dragon companion as described in the dragon's breath spell once per rage.
Dragon Fear
The bond you share with your dragon companion allows you to tap into the legendary 'dragon fear' so long as you are in close proximity to each other. This means that not only does your strength matter more when intimidating people than you charisma but you also have an advantage when attempting to intimidate people. Be wary who you expose to dragon fear as the faint of heart may be worse for ware afterwards.
Eternal Bond
The bond between you and your dragon companion has deepened; becoming eternal. Neither of you can sever the bond alone even if you tried and your lifespan has changed to match your bonded dragon. In addition you can now see through each other's eye and hear what each other hear so long as you are with 300ft of each other. Beyond the distance of 300ft you can always find each other as you can tell the general direction and distance to each other at all times. This comes with drawback as well, if you are separated by a distance of 300ft you gain 1 level of exhaustion for every day you are separated until you are within 300ft of each other again at which point any exhaustion levels caused by your bond will be undone.
Dragon Roar
Your bonded dragon lets out a mighty roar laced with magical energy. Any hostile creatures within 60ft must roll a wisdom saving throw (DC 10 + half barbarian level) or be frightened. Your bonded dragon can use this ability 3 times before it must have a short rest. If this ability is used during the first turn of the Messeji all those targeted by the ability have disadvantage on the wisdom saving throw.
True Messeji
It has been many millennia since the last humanoid-dragon pair reached this level of synchronicity and unlocked the final form of the Messeji. You are now permanently changed by your previous uses of the Messeji and all effects previously granted to you are a part of you even when you are not fused with your bonded dragon. However when you perform the true Messeji your power will soar to new heights. You will gain the vision of a dragon (100ft Truesight), the wings of a dragon (60ft Flying Speed), the scales of a dragon (+2 AC) and the breath of a dragon (Can use a young dragon's breath once per fusion).
