Base Class: Barbarian
The makeup of your physiology has become warped and is alien to the very nature of magic. Your soul has been aggressively parted from the weave and magic does not integrate with you properly.
Discordant Weave
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, he makeup of your physiology has become warped and is alien to the very nature of magic. While raging, you have advantage on saving throws against spells and spell attacks have disadvantage against you. While raging, if an ally tries to cast a buff or healing spell on you, they make an ability check using their spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success the spell functions as intended, on a fail the spell dissipates and the spell slot is consumed, however the spell can still be absorbed by the Mystic devourer ability.
Mystic Devourer
Beginning at 6th level, you can use your action to consume a magic item that you are touching, destroying the item permanently, or use a reaction to consume a spell that you interrupt. When you consume a magic item in this way, you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency times the item's rarity level. When you consume a spell in this way, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your proficiency bonus times the spell's level.
When you consume a magic item or spell in this way you integrate it's aspects of the weave into yourself. For a short period of time you are gain abilities relative to the item or spell you consumed, as determined by the DM.
Arcane Disruption
Beginning at 10th level, a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short of long rest, when you hit a creature you can attempt to disrupt their connection to the weave. They must make a constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier), on a failed save they are under the affect of an Antimagic Field until the end of you next turn.
The Hunger
Beginning at 14th level, the absence of the weave from your body has created a hunger within you.
When you consume the magic of spells with your Mystic Devourer ability you can instead choose to contain the magic within yourself. Each level consumed is equivalent to 1 arcane charge, you may hold a number of arcane charges equal your barbarian level. These stored arcane charges reset on a long rest.
- You can survive without food or water by completely absorbing spells of a level equal to a quarter of your barbarian level rounded down each day. By sustaining yourself in this way your aging begins to slow. While you live this way, for every 10 years that pass, you age 1. If you sustain yourself in this way for more than a month you become addicted.
- As a bonus action you can chose to expend arcane charges to heal 1d6 per arcane charge + your constitution modifier.
- When you make a melee attack you can use a bonus action to expend arcane charges to do an additional 1d12 force damage per arcane charge.
