Base Class: Warlock
There are ancient creatures of power throughout the planes, many of which are willing to make deals with mortals to achieve their ends. These beings fall all over the spectrum of good and evil, order and chaos.
But what of the mortals who make these deals, what are they trying to get out of this bargain? Power alone is the basis of all pacts, but there are some Warlocks who desire companionship, even in the strangest of forms. These Warlocks, known as Summoners, make weaker pacts with multiple entities in the form of Eidolons, reflections of the beings they made pacts with.
Expanded Spell List
Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Summoner Spell List table. Each spell counts as a warlock spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of warlock spells you know.

Summon Eidolon
At 3rd Level, Summoners can form an Eidolon; a powerful ally that aids them in battle. An Eidolon rests in a demi-plane formed by the patron of the Summoner and can be summoned by spending a minute of focus. If they are already on the same plane as the Summoner, the Summoner can focus in the same way and use an action to instantly teleport the Eidolon to a space within 5ft of the Summoner.
As an action, you can summon the Eidolon to a space within 10ft of you. You can choose what the creature looks like and what form it will be in. Choose either Assault, Guardian, or Support. Each has special property notes in the creature's description. The form lasts until it is resummoned or until you spend 1 hour doing a ritual to change its form.
The Eidolon is friendly to you and your companions and obeys your commands. See its game statistics in the accompanying Warlock Eidolon stat block, which uses your proficiency bonus (PB) in several places.
In combat, the Eidolon shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated, the Eidolon can take any action of its choice, not just Dodge.
The Eidolon remains until it is reduced to 0 hit points, until you use this feature to summon the Eidolon again, or until you die.
You can summon the Eidolon a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Reactions
Potent Summons
At 6th Level, your summons grow in power. This includes your Eidolon and any creature summoned or created through the use of "Find Familiar, Summon, Conjure or Create" Spells. Creatures summoned with these conditions gain temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level on summon, and any attacks they make count as magical when determining resistance and immunities.
Symbiotic Summoning
At 10th level, whilst you and your Eidolon are within 30 feet of each other, you both gain a +2 bonus to your AC and saving throws.
In addition, whenever you are the target of a spell or ability that requires a saving throw, If your Eidolon is within 30 feet, you can use your reaction to summon the Eidolon to absorb the hit. The Eidolon swaps places with you, so long as there is space for it to do so. The Eidolon automatically fails to save, and the damage it takes cannot be reduced in any way. You cannot use this feature if the Eidolon is also the target of the same spell or ability. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you have taken a short or long rest.
Eidolic Incarnation
At the 14th level, your skills as a Summoner reach unlimited potential as you unleash the true strength of your Eidolon. Whilst you are concentrating on a spell with the "Summoner" keyword, you cannot fail concentration saves. Whenever you cast a spell that targets Self, you can also target your Eidolon so long as it is within 30ft.
Whenever you summon your Eidolon, you can choose whether it is medium or large, and it gains a flight speed equal to it's walking speed.
Your Eidolon also gains the following abilities, depending on which form it takes:
Assault Form: The Eidolon deals an additional 1d6 damage on it's claw attacks, and can make a third attack as part of it's attack action. It's Strength Score also Increases by 2.
Guardian Form: The Eidolon gains resistance to Piercing, Bludgeoning and Slashing damage, and it's hit point maximum increase by a number equal to twice your Warlock Level.
Support Form: When the Eidolon uses its Help action, the next attack against the target deals an additional 2d6 Damage, and the attack heals an amount equal to the bonus damage dealt.
