Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Warrior of the Steel Soul is a monk focused on speed and reslience. They may not hit the hardest, but they will always win the war of attrition.

Hardened Soul

At 3rd level when you walk this path, your maximum hit points increases by 12. When you achieve subsequent levels you either increase your hit points by 1d12 or by 7.

Vanish

From 6th level, when you are hit with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to cast misty step without a spell slot or components. When you reappear your AC is increased by 1d4 until the start of your next turn. This AC buff increases to 1d6 at 11th level and 1d8 at 17th level.

Steel Wind

From 11th level, your movement speed increases by 10 feet. Additionally, when you use your 6th level ability to misty step, you deal magical slashing damage equal to 1 roll of your martial arts die, plus your wisdom modifier, to the creature which struck you simultaneously with casting misty step.

Steel Soul

From 17th level, you can spend your action and bonus action to use 6 focus points to grant yourself invulnerability for one turn. While invulnerable you are immune to all damage and condition effects, any existing condition affecting you automatically end (unless they would require a greater restoration spell to remove). Each time you are hit with an attack or would otherwise take damage while invulnerable, you instead regain 1 focus point.
