Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Perhaps one of your parents was a fey, or perhaps you were abandoned by your parents and raised by wolves, or maybe you have latent Dryad blood in your veins. Whatever the case, your spellcasting ability is tied to your relationship with Nature.

Origin: Nature's Disciple

Starting at 1st-level, only if Child of Gaia Sorcerer is your base class, you can communicate with beasts and plants. They can understand you, and you can understand them in return. Furthermore, you gain Proficiency in Animal Handling and Nature.

Note: If you can see such details, Origin: Nature's Disciple and the below Will of Nature should be applied at Level 1, but the site required me to set them as "Required Class Level 3".

Will of Nature

Starting at 1st-level, you add your Wisdom Modifier to your AC instead of Dexterity. If you are in a forest, jungle, or other such environment, add your Wisdom Modifier twice. If you later gain Unarmored Defense (Monk), then you regain your Dexterity bonus to AC as well as keeping Will of Nature’s bonus. You will not gain Will of Nature’s Wisdom AC Bonus if you are wearing Light, Medium, or Heavy armor.

Furthermore, your Spellcasting Ability for Sorcerer Spells can be your choice of Charisma or Wisdom, chosen when you are casting them.

Nature's Grace

Starting at 6th-level, whenever you fail a skill check that you are Proficient in, you may spend Sorcery Points to make up the difference between your value and the DC to succeed instead.

Example:

Nature Skill DC = 18

Roll 8 + Nature Proficiency 6 = 14 (Fail)

Spend 4 Sorcery Points to succeed instead

**This can be used for any skill you are Proficient in, not just ones provided through Nature’s Disciple.

Chosen of Nature

Starting at 14th-level, beasts and plant-based creatures cannot willingly attack you. If they are ordered to attack you through someone else’s control, the beast or plant must make a CON Saving Throw against your WIS Save DC. On a failed save, they deal half damage and the damage is treated as non-lethal. On a successful save, the damage is still non-lethal.

Avatar of Gaia

Starting at 18th-level, your connection to nature becomes second only to the gods of Nature. On your turn, you can consume both your action and bonus action to turn all beasts and plant-based creatures within 60 feet into allies. They will fight at your side until they are defeated and will not betray you. If they survive to the end of the current combat, they will return to being docile creatures of the wilds, where they may be tamed thereafter.

You can use this ability a maximum of once per day.
