Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of the Mimic represent a rare and fascinating branch of druidic tradition. Their connection to nature extends beyond the animal kingdom, allowing them to embody the very essence of inanimate objects. This unique ability reflects their deep understanding of nature's adaptability and resourcefulness, and their powers often draw from the natural elements, transforming them into objects that mirror their environment.

Philosophy and Lore                                                      Mimic druids believe that all things—be they living creatures or static objects—possess an inherent spirit. By understanding these spirits, they can harness their powers and take on their forms. They view the world as a tapestry of interconnectedness, where even the simplest stone or tree branch holds lessons and secrets. This philosophy fosters a deep respect for all aspects of nature, leading them to preserve the balance of life in unconventional ways.

Many Circle of the Mimic druids are seen as tricksters or guardians, using their powers to protect the natural world from threats or to play harmless pranks on those who disrespect it. They often wander the wilderness in search of ancient artifacts or forgotten relics, believing that every object has a story worth telling.

Mimicry

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to transform into various inanimate objects. As a bonus action, you can assume the form of a simple object you have seen before, such as a chair, a statue, or a small box. Your new form must be no larger than a 5-foot cube. While transformed, you retain your intelligence, wisdom, and charisma scores, but you cannot attack, cast spells, or take actions that require physical movement.

You can maintain this form for up to 1 hour, or until you choose to revert back to your original form as a bonus action. While in object form, you are immune to all damage except for force damage, and you cannot be targeted by spells or abilities. However, you can still be affected by area effects, such as fireball or lightning storm.

As a bonus action, you can replicate any sound, voice, or musical note you have heard clearly within the last 24 hours.
