Base Class: Barbarian
The Spellblaster path is a unique variant of a barbarian that allows the user to forge a magic gauntlet allowing them to store spells. Even going so far as to be able to use these stored spells while raging. However, this subclass focuses heavily on mixing melee combat and sprinkling in magic, being only partially a caster, they use these spells to enhance themselves without giving up the melee combat aspects that make barbarians the center of the battlefield.
Spellcasting
You have an innate ability to cast spells. The information below details how you use those rules as a Spellblaster.
Cantrips. You know two cantrips of your choice from the Sorcerer spell list. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can replace one of these cantrips with another cantrip of your choice from the Sorcerer spell list.
When you reach Barbarian level 10, you learn another Sorcerer cantrip of your choice.
Spell Slots. The Spellblaster Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your level 1+ spells. You regain all expended slots when you finish a Long Rest.

Prepared Spells of Level 1+. You prepare the list of level 1+ spells that are available for you to cast with this feature. To start, choose three level 1 spells from the Sorcerer spell list.
The number of spells on your list increases as you gain Barbarian levels, as shown in the Prepared Spells column of the Spellblaster Spellcasting table. Whenever that number increases, choose additional spells from the Sorcerer spell list until the number of spells on your list matches the number on the table. The chosen spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For example, if you’re a level 7 Barbarian, your list of prepared spells can include five Sorcerer spells of levels 1 and 2 in any combination.
Changing Your Prepared Spells. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can replace one spell on your list with another Sorcerer spell for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your Sorcerer spells.
Spellcasting Focus. You can use an Arcane Focus as a Spellcasting Focus for your Sorcerer spells.
Gauntlet Wielder
When you take this subclass at 3rd level, you are granted the ability to store spells in a magical gauntlet you create.
You gain proficiency with Tinker's Tools, and you gain access to creating a Spell Gauntlet. The Spell Gauntlet requires 50gp and 1 hour to create for the first time and if it is ever destroyed or lost. You may decide how the gauntlet looks and what material it is made out of.
Your Spell Gauntlet lets you perform a 10-minute ritual at the end of a Short or Long Rest to store spells. During this time you choose a number of spells equal to your Proficiency Bonus, expend the necessary spell slots and materials, and store them in the gauntlet. You can store a single spell multiple times, as long as you have the available spell and storage slots (such as storing two 1st level Shield spells within your gauntlet after a rest). Equipping the Spell Gauntlet doesn’t count as armor, and other creatures cannot use it effectively.
To store a spell, it must not require concentration or be a ritual spell. You must know and have the spell prepared, and expend the necessary spell slot. Stored spells can be cast while raging, without verbal or somatic components. While raging, you cannot cast spells through other means or concentrate. The stored spell takes effect at the level it was stored.
Spell Blast
At 6th level, you've learned more ways to intertwine your spell casting and your martial abilities.
When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of the attacks with a casting of one of your Sorcerer spells or cantrips that has a casting time of an action. If the spell is a stored spell, you can add your Charisma modifier to the total damage or healing.
Sorcerous Strike
Beginning at 10th level, you learn how to empower your weapon strikes using powerful magic.
When you hit a creature with an attack using a weapon, you can apply any Metamagic option to the next spell you cast on the target or yourself under the normal restrictions of the Metamagic option.
Fully Charged
At 14th level, you've developed new techniques to make your Spell Gauntlet more powerful.
When you land a critical hit with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to expend a spell slot of any level. You then recover an expended stored spell at the newly expended spell slots level. If you are out of spell slots when this occurs, you may instead recover a 1st level spell slot.
Additionally, while your gauntlet is full of stored spells, you have access to the ability, Arcane Overdrive.
Arcane Overdrive. While your gauntlet is full of stored spells that have not been expended, you can choose to upcast one of your stored spells (regardless of the level it was stored at) to a spell level equal to the highest spell slot of a Sorcerer of equivalent level to the number of levels you have in Barbarian (For example a 14th level Barbarian could cast a stored Fireball spell at 7th level, while a 17th level Barbarian could cast a stored Fireball at 9th level). This expends the stored spell. You can use this once per Long Rest.
