Eat, Pray, Love, Fight! These are the tenants of worship for those that choose to walk the path of the Battle Chef. Some followers wish to travel and cook all different types of food, others open their own kitchens or work to feed the poor and homeless. Food is the one great connection that all mortals share and at times is the only connection that can bridge the divide between people.

Blessing of the Culinarian

When you choose this domain at 3rd level, You gain expertise with Cook's Utensils and can use cookware as your Holy Symbol. Additionally during a short or long rest you can make a meal for a number of creatures equal to your wisdom modifier from the table below. You roll a Cooks Utensils check against a DC of (15 + the number of creatures you are cooking for). If you fail the DC check, you only gain the base effects. The effects begin the moment the short or long rest ends. A creature can only be under the effect of the most recent meal they have eaten. You can only choose to cook one meal per short or long rest.

Battle Chef Domain Spells

Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a Cleric level specified in the Battlechef Domain Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Chef de Cuisine

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to utilize your skills at managing a kitchen to manage your allies on the battlefield

As a Bonus Action, yourself and allies within 30 ft. of you can use a reaction to make an attack of opportunity against a creature within range.

Enhanced Goodberry

Beginning at 6th level, whenever you cast goodberry, it summons 4 small treats in your hand instead of berries. Eating the treats restores 5 hit points instead of the 1 normally provided by goodberry.

When you reach 12th level in this class, the amount of healing your treats provide increases to 10.

Avatar of the Culinary Arts

Starting at 17th level, your skill in the kitchen is world-renowned. In addition to the healing effects offered by the treats you create with Enhanced Goodberry, you can imbue the treats with two of the the following effects. (Must choose two separate effects)

  • Gain temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier
  • End one disease affecting the creature.
  • End one of the following conditions affecting the creature: blinded, deafened, poisoned, charmed and frightened.
  • Reduce the creature’s exhaustion by one level.
  • End one curse, including that of a cursed magic item.
  • End any reduction to one of the creature’s ability scores.
  • End one effect that reduces the creature’s hit point maximum.
  • Infuse the treat with the effects of a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level spell with a casting time of an action or bonus action from your cleric spell list but excluding spells that deal damage. Consumer of the treat becomes the target of the spell. this spell effect do not require concentration or use of a spell slot.
