Base Class: Fighter
A wanderer with more weaponry than fingers walks into a saloon, throwing a bloodied bag onto the counter, collecting scraps of silver for his latest quarry, a woman steps up to an alley of thugs, raining down arrows, bolts and blades into their now corpses, leaving spectators in awe and the enemy in the scarlet sand beneath them. All this for a handful of gold.
A bounty hunter is a mercenary, who trades blood and bruises for coin. Most accomplished bounty hunters are of course, incredibly invested in their appearance, for what client wouldn't hire a glamorous dealer of death?
Keeping it Stylish
At 3rd level, you understand that style is key and learn to harness risk-taking, death-defying stunts in combat.
The first time you attack in a round, you gain a style point. You gain additional style points by doing the following:
You gain 1 style point for making an additional attack with a different weapon.
You gain 1 style point for reducing a creature in initiative's hit points to 0.
You gain 1 style point for critically hitting an enemy.
Additionally, DM's may award (at their discretion) style points for pulling risky stunts or detrimental actions in combat.
You can consume style points to take the following Style Techniques when you make an attack roll:
Glorious Finisher. When you successfully hit a creature with an attack, you deal additional damage equal to your remaining style points as d4’s. You cannot take any more attack actions until your next turn.
Masterful Footwork. You gain AC equal to your remaining style points halved (and rounded up)
Adrenaline Rush. You gain 15ft of additional movement speed and do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
You lose all style points at the beginning of your turn.
Friends in Many Places
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency of your choice in intimidation, persuasion or performance.
Switch-Up
At level 7, as soon as the action begins, so does your high-risk high-reward technique, you gain 2 style points at the start of your turn. Additionally, you can freely stow and draw weapons without using an action every time you attack.
You may also expend your style points in new ways:
Eat This. After you make an attack, you may expend as many style points as you have to add that number to your attack roll, you can do so after rolling but before knowing the result.
Power Slide. When a creature within 10ft. of you attacks, you may expend all style points to move toward them without provoking attacks of opportunity and make an attack against them, adding the amount of style points spend to the attack roll.
Your Attention, Please
At level 10, when you make an attack against a creature with a movement speed of 0, that is incapacitated or surprised, you have advantage against them and gain an extra style point for attacking them.
Additionally, you have advantage on Charisma checks on non-hostile creatures that have seen you in combat of CR3 or less.
Devilish Trigger
At level 15, you are a spectacle to watch in combat, unparalleled in talent of making foes bleed and allies rally. You may expend style points in new ways, modifying previous ways.
Glorious Finisher replaces d6's with d4's.
Masterful Footwork now grants you additional AC equal to your style points.
Adrenaline Rush now gives all creatures disadvantage to attack you until the start of your next turn.
You also gain two new ways to spend your style points:
Jackpot! Once per long rest, if you have 10 style points or more, you complete your spree of blades and bolts with a grand finale. After successfully hitting a creature with an attack, if their HP is equal to or less than your expended style points x 5, their hit points are reduced to 0. This does not affect creatures with legendary resistances or actions and instead deals damage equal to your expended style points as d10's.
Death Blossom. Once per long rest, if you have 10 style points or more, you erupt into a whirlwind of destruction. All creatures within 15ft of you must make a DEX save against DC:17. On a failure, they take damage equal to half of the expended style points as d6's.
SSSensational!
At 18th level, your attacks turn into a flurry of blood and steel. When you make an attack with a weapon you haven't yet made an attack with this turn, you gain 2 style points rather than 1. Additionally, when you make an attack with artifact properties, the first time you make an attack with that weapon in a combat, you gain additional style points equal to the weapon's properties.
