Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the Way of the Many harness their ki to create illusionary duplicates of themselves in combat. These reflections, indistinguishable from the monk, are used to outmaneuver and overwhelm opponents, striking from multiple angles and causing confusion on the battlefield.
Visage of the Many
At 3rd level, our mastery of ki allows you the ability to summon illusory duplicates of yourself. As a bonus action, you can expend 1 ki point to create a number of illusory duplicates of yourself up to your proficiency bonus, and they appear at a point you chose within 30 feet of you. On your turn, you can mentally command your duplicates to move a number of feet equal to your speed in any direction
These duplicates are indistinguishable from you in appearance, and last until destroyed, you dismiss them as a bonus action, or if they are more than 60 feet away from you when you end your turn. You can have a number of duplicates active equal to your proficiency bonus + your wisdom modifier.
Your duplicates have 1 hit point, AC equal to 14 + your proficiency bonus, and are immune to all conditions. When a duplicate needs to make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw bonus for the roll. When you reach level 7, they also gain the evasion feature. If an echo takes any damage, it immediately vanishes.
Spectral Leap
Once per turn, you can choose to swap places with an active duplicate within 30 feet of you, expending an amount of your movement equal to the distance between you and the duplicate.
Mirrored Strike
At 6th level, your mastery over your duplicates grows. When you make an unarmed attack or a monk weapon attack, you can make that attack originate from the space of a duplicate of your choice. You cannot have an attack originate from the same duplicate more than once per turn
Mirrored Movement
At 11th level, your mastery over your ability to create duplicates of yourself grows, allowing you to cast the spell mirror image once per turn for free. You can cast this spell for free once per long rest, or you can expend 3 focus points to cast it again.
When you can mirror image in this way, all your duplicates also gain the effects of the spell for its duration.
Additionally, the number of duplicates you can creates increases to your proficiency bonus + twice your wisdom modifier
Barrage of the Many
At level 17 your mastery of your duplicates has reached its apex. As an action, you can release a coordinated barrage of attacks through all of your reflections. Each duplicate makes a melee attack against a creature within 5 feet of the duplicate, using your attack modifiers for the attack roll and dealing magical bludgeoning damage equal to your martial arts die + your wisdom modifier.
You can use this feature once, and regain all expended uses on a long rest
