Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of the Fool practice the art of comedy, finding humor in anything and anyone. They are masters of emotion, able to evoke feelings ranging from melancholy to giddiness with their words and their actions. Bards of this type are sought out across the world to entertain nobles and the commonwealth alike.

Acting Savant

You are a master of pushing forward parts of your personality into the limelight. When you make a Charisma check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Spiteful Mockery

You can turn someone else's failure into a cutting joke. You know the Vicious Mockery cantrip. In addition, you can cast Vicious Mockery as a reaction when someone within 30 feet of you misses an attack, making fun of the attackers failure. Whenever you cast Vicious Mockery you can roll a d8 instead of a d6 for the damage die. this die increases to a d10 at 11th level, and a d12 at 17th level.

Gallows Humor

You can take your own misfortune and turn it into fortune for others. Whenever you take damage from an attack roll, you can use a reaction to mock yourself, adding 1d8 psychic damage to the damage roll. If you do, you can grant an ally within 30 feet of you temporary hit points equal to the total damage taken from the attack. This feature can be used a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once) and replenishes after a long rest.

Last Laugh

When you are reduced to 0 hit points by an enemy, you can make one final quip. Laugh as loud as you are able and roll a number of d8s equal to your Charisma modifier adding the total to the next damage roll for up to half your level in allies that can see and hear you. If the enemy that defeated you is themselves defeated within 1 round of you using this ability, you are healed for an amount of hit points equal to the total rolled. When you use this ability take 1d4-1 points of exhaustion.
