Base Class: Wizard
A revised subclass meant to increase strength and versatility in combat and roleplay while keeping the identity of the original.
The School of Necromancy explores the cosmic forces of life, death, and undeath. As you focus your studies in this tradition, you learn to manipulate the energy that animates all living things. As you progress, you learn to sap the life force from a creature as your magic destroys its body, transforming that vital energy into magical power you can manipulate.
Most people see necromancers as menacing, or even villainous, due to the close association with death. Not all necromancers are evil, but the forces they manipulate are considered taboo by many societies.
Necromancy Savant
Starting at 3rd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy an Necromancy spell into your Spellbook is halved, and you learn Chill Touch in addition to the following spell list.
These spells count as known, are always prepared, and don't count toward your maximum number of prepared spells.
If you already know any of these spells when you gain this feature you can remove them from your Spellbook and replace them.
Despite the tooltips showing 2014 spells, you do get the 2024 versions, tooltips just haven't been updated to include them yet.

Dark Sight
Starting at 3rd level, you gain 60ft of Darkvision and become able to see and hear lingering spirits, though most move on immediately after death some become bound to someone or something due to powerful emotions, such as regret, hate, or love.
Grim Harvest
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to reap life energy from those who are killed by yourself or allies.
When you, a creature you control, or an ally kills a suitable target you can restore Hit Points equal to one plus your Intelligence Modifier to yourself or a creature you can see within 120ft, if the restored Hit Points gained in this way exceeds their maximum they are instead converted to Temporary Hit Points that last until after their next Long Rest.
A suitable target is a creature or swarm of creatures that is not more than 120ft away, an Undead or Construct, has a Challenge Rating of at least 1/8, and has not already become the target of this feature since they died.
Undead Thralls
Starting at 6th level, you add the Animate Dead spell to your Spellbook if it is not there already When you cast Animate Dead, you can target one additional corpse or pile of bones, creating another Zombie or Skeleton, as appropriate.
All Undead under your control gain the following benefits:
• Their maximum Hit Points are increased by an amount equal to your Wizard level.
• They add your Proficiency Bonus to all of their checks, Saves, and attack rolls.
• They remain under your control without needing to recast Animate Dead until you willingly release them or die.
Death Touched
Starting at 10th level, you have spent so much time dealing with undead and the forces that animate them that you have become inured to some of their worst effects.
You become Resistant to Necrotic Damage damage, your maximum Hit Points cannot be reduced, and you receive the benefits of effects that restore your Hit Points even if it would be prevented by effects like from Chill Touch.
Death Sight
Starting at 10th level, your ability to see beyond has improved, granting you 15ft of Truesight.
Command Undead
Starting at 14th level, your control over undead has strengthened to the point that you can wrest control over any undead you can see, and undead under your control can be commanded without using your Bonus Action and you can do so without speaking.
As an Action, you can choose one Undead that you can see. They must make a Charisma Saving Throw against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, you can’t use this feature on it again. If it fails, it becomes Friendly to you and obeys your commands until dismissed or you die.
Intelligent undead are harder to control in this way. If the target has an Intelligence of 8 or higher, it has Advantage on the Saving Throw. If it fails the Saving Throw and has an Intelligence of 12 or higher, it can repeat the Save every hour until it succeeds and breaks free.
