Base Class: Bard
The College of Confection is for bards who believe that a good meal, especially a sweet one, is as powerful as any song or tale. These bards are skilled in the culinary arts, particularly baking, and use their delectable treats to inspire, heal, and even hinder foes. College of Confection bards mix ingredients with spells, imbuing pastries and sweets with magical properties that are as effective as they are delicious.
College of Confection Spell List
Your dedication to baking grants you additional spell options. When you reach certain levels in this class, you gain access to the following spells, which do not count against the number of bard spells you know:
Baker's Delight
Baker’s Delight Magical Pastries: You learn to bake small pastries imbued with magical effects. During a short or long rest, you can bake a number of pastries equal to your Charisma modifier. You can choose from the following types
- Sweet Rolls: When eaten, a creature regains hit points equal to your Bard level.
- Spicy Buns: When eaten, a creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Bard level and can add +1d4 fire damage to their next melee or ranged attack within the next hour.
- Crumbly Cookies: When eaten, a creature gains advantage on their next Dexterity saving throw within the next hour.
These pastries last until your next long rest or until consumed, whichever comes first.
Bonus Proficiency: You gain proficiency in Cook’s Utensils and Brewer’s Supplies (or gain expertise if already proficient), and you can use them as your spellcasting focus for bard spells.

Sugar Rush
Quickened Confections: When you use Bardic Inspiration on a creature, you can give them a burst of energy as well. The creature can use its reaction to move up to half its movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Euphoric Aroma: You gain the ability to fill a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on yourself with an intoxicating, euphoric aroma that smells like fresh-baked goods. Hostile creatures within this area must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be charmed by you until the end of their next turn or until they take damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once) and regain all uses after a long rest.
Quicken Confection
When you use Bardic Inspiration on a creature, you can give them a burst of energy as well. The creature can use its reaction to move up to half its movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Grand Baker’s Banquet
Arcane Feast: You can conjure an enormous, magical banquet filled with enchanted pastries and desserts. You may use an action to create enough food for up to 12 creatures. Those who partake in the feast gain the following benefits for the next 24 hours:
- Restores any missing hit points and removes one level of exhaustion.
- Provides immunity to poison and disease.
- Grants advantage on Wisdom saving throws.
Sweetened Spells: When you cast a spell that requires concentration, you can imbue it with sugary magic that stabilizes it. Once per long rest, you can maintain concentration on two spells at the same time, as long as one of them is a College of Confection spell or a spell cast through an Arcane Feast.
