Base Class: Monk

Monks who follow the Way of the Infernal Hunter walk a perilous path, drawing on the power of the abyss to fight fire with fire. Through rigorous training and intense spiritual discipline, these monks learn to harness abyssal energies without succumbing to their corrupting influence. They become living conduits of infernal power, using their dark gifts to amplify their lethality.

Infernal Study

Long study of the dark beings in this world has granted you frightening knowledge. You gain proficiency in intimidation and arcana, and you are fluent in Infernal and Abyssal. At 10th level, you gain expertise in Arcana and Intimidation.

Infernal Mark

You gain a special variant of hunters mark called infernal mark. As a bonus action, you can spend one ki point to mark a creature within 90 feet that you can see. You deal an extra 2d6 fire or necrotic damage (Your choice) to the marked target whenever you hit it with an unarmed strike. However, you have disadvantage on attacks against anyone that isn't marked. If the marked target is a fiend, undead or monstrosity, add another d6. Starting at 11th level, the damage increases to 3d6 (4d6 against fiends, undead or monstrosities)

Abyssal Aggression

At 6th level, you learn to channel Abyssal energy to strike with unerring accuracy. When you make an attack roll, you can spend two ki points to lower the threshold for a critical hit. For the rest of the turn, your attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. At 11th level, it's a critical hit on a roll of 18 or 20.

Abyssal Leap

At 11th Level, you can channel abyssal energy to perform a powerful leap. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied area you can see. When you appear, you release entropic energy. Each creature within 10 feet of your destination makes a dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8+proficiency bonus+your wisdom modifier) taking 3d10 fire or necrotic damage (your choice) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Abyssal Predator

At 17th level, you can choose to ignite your body with abyssal energy using 5 ki points. Whilst in this form you must make a form saving throw at the end of each round.

1. Consider everyone you attack to be marked

2. Every attack you land increases your crit chance by 1

3. You gain an extra bonus action attack.

The form ends if you run out of ki points, or you don't attack for 1 round. At the end of this form, you are stunned for one round.
