Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Some wizards of the school of Necromancy think the resurrection of corpses is unrefined and brutish. Instead of using their necrotic energy to animate dead flesh, they make use of the last remnants of soul remaining in a corpse, pulling it out and infusing their dolls with them. They make these dolls themselves, often from porcelain, hence where they get their name. Controlling them just like a normal Necromancer controls their corpses, the great difference being the creativity they have when making their dolls, allowing their dolls to have different mechanisms and different uses.

Necromancy Savant

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a necromancy spell into your spellbook is halved.

Dollmaker

At 2nd level you learn to make your dolls, these come in 2 varieties: non-combat and combat. The non-combat dolls are those that have a mechanic allowing them to perform a task, this can include using a tool, or something else, the Dungeon master decides if something is plausible or not. Non-combat dolls cost 100 gold pieces and 1d4+3 days to make. Non-combat dolls are used to battle enemies, they have a combat rating of maximum 1/2, see card to see stats and abilities. They can make one attack with a simple weapon or cast one cantrip that you know or have a scroll for. They cost 500 gold pieces and 1d8+5 days to make. To activate a doll you must fill them with remnants of souls, a non-combat doll needs an amount of souls equivalent to combat rating 5, a combat doll needs an amount of souls equivalent to combat rating 10. You can take the remnants of souls of creatures that have died up to 10 minutes, you must perform a ritual of 1 minute per creature to collect the remnant. You can have 1 doll animated and active at the same time, to change to another doll you must have another activated doll and spend a short rest to "turn it on". The dolls can have any appearance of your choosing, but must have a humanoid form, be made from a non-living material and be big enough to be able to have the mechanism inside. If a doll is destroyed you can spend a long rest with it to repair it. If you have a doll active you can't raise, animate or control undead.

Puppeteer

Starting at 6th level you are more skilled at making and manipulating dolls, you are now able to have two dolls active at the same time. The maximum combat rating of combat dolls you can make is now 2, they can now cast one first level spell you know or have a scroll for in addition to the weapon attack or cantrip they cast, in addition you can now build them to use a martial weapon that has the finesse tag. Non-combat dolls are now able to have two mechanisms, one of these can be a cantrip you know or have a scroll for.

From Death Life

Beginning at 10th level, you have resistance to necrotic damage, in addition you can now gather the remnants of souls using an action.

Porcelain Perfection

Starting at 14th level, your skills in making and control over your dolls has reached that of a master. You are now able to have 3 dolls active at the same time. Your combat dolls can now have a maximum combat rating of 4, in addition they can now cast a 2nd level spell or cast a first level spell twice that you know or have a scroll of. Your non-combat dolls can now have 3 mechanisms, one of which can be a first level utility spell you know or have a scroll for which it can cast twice a day.
