Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Blood hunters of the Order of the Mirage specialize in deception, illusion, and the manipulation of reality itself. Drawing on the power of mirages and illusions, these hunters become masters of evasion and misdirection, using their abilities to confuse and outwit their enemies.

Veil of Illusion

When you join this order at 3rd level, you gain the ability to create minor illusions to aid you in combat. As a bonus action, you can create a duplicate of yourself that appears in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you. This duplicate lasts for 1 minute, or until it is destroyed. The duplicate has an AC equal to 10 + your Dexterity modifier and hit points equal to twice your blood hunter level. It cannot attack or interact with objects, but it can move up to your speed and mimic your actions. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Mirage Step

At 7th level, you gain the ability to momentarily become incorporeal, allowing you to evade attacks and move through obstacles. As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can turn incorporeal until the start of your next turn. While incorporeal, you have resistance to all damage except force damage, and you can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Phantasmal Strike

Starting at 11th level, your attacks can create disorienting illusions. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to deal an additional 3d6 psychic damage. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your blood hunter spell save DC or be blinded and deafened until the end of its next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Cloak Of Shadows

At 15th level, you can wrap yourself in a cloak of shifting shadows, making it difficult for enemies to target you. As an action, you can become invisible for 1 minute. While invisible, you leave behind illusory afterimages that can confuse your foes. Any creature that makes an attack roll against you while you are invisible must roll a d20. On a roll of 10 or lower, the attack misses, regardless of its roll. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Master of Illusions

Starting at 18th level, your mastery over illusions reaches its peak. You can cast the spell *mirage arcane* once without expending a spell slot. Additionally, you can use your Veil of Illusion feature without expending a use, and the duplicate has resistance to all damage. Once you cast *mirage arcane* using this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
