Devil Hunter (csm)

Devil hunters are top notch combatants who specialize in killing devils and protecting the public using melee weapons, guns, and even devils themselves to get the job done. The devil hunters gain access to powerful contracts as they progress through the ranks in the public safety system allowing them to better protect the public and kill any devil that poses a threat or risk to the public safety, These contracts are all supervised and regulated by public safety itself to insure safety and protection for the public making sure devil hunters do not abuse or violate the laws and regulations of public safety standards.

Public safety Devil contract

Devil Hunters are specialized trained enforcement for Public safety who make contracts with certain devils allowing them to use the devils abilities in combat in exchange for flesh and blood of themselves or their enemies. These contracts can be helpful in many different ways allowing the contract holders to take on devils they normally could not deal with. Each contract is different some purely meant to be offensive others defensive and even ones that are support based allowing hunters to back up teammates without having to put themselves in danger

Fox Devil

The Fox devil is by far the most friendly devil to humans often letting devil hunters use it to fight devils for a low price. It is known for being quite picky with who it makes a contract with as it prefers more attractive people to be in a contract with. It often picks favorites and lets its favorites use its incredible strength for much lower costs then other hunters can.

Octopus devil

The octopus devil is a very friendly helpful devil almost caring for the hunter its contracted with giving the abilities to not only damage its enemies but also protecting its user as a reaction from either physical attacks or falling from great heights although it can only be used  a couple of times before the octopus devil has sustained too much damage and can only attack . It also gives the contract holder the ability to grapple enemies much more easily instead of using an attack they can choose to grapple someone of their choice with one of the octopus devils tentacles allowing the devil Hunter to continue to fight or react while restraining an enemy. This action while active does not allow you to use any of the other octopus devils abilities. 

Snake Devil

The snake devil is very impartial for people not hating humanity as most devils normally do. The contracts always give the same abilities but they are all incredibly helpful to any devil hunter allowing them to attack from decent ranges, giving increased movement both running and climbing, and finally storage for holding weapons, gear, and even injured allies or defeated enemies. 

Public Safety Uniform

Every public safety devil Hunter is required to wear the standard uniform a black suit with a white button down and black tie which is almost as durable as a bulletproof vest while being flexible and lightweight. This uniform allows devil hunters to take the blows of strong devils and not be critically injured while still allowing the hunters to be agile giving them the options of dodging attacks that normal armor and protection would not allow.   

Relentless Training

Devil Hunters have amazing athletic abilities for the many missions and training they have been through making them much more agile than ever before. They have also been through extreme situations giving them steeled nerves and unshakable resolve fighting through injuries and having no problem with killing if needed and making them incredibly resistant to being frightened or charmed. This also comes with the bonus of being proficient with most light to medium sized weapons as they have trained for weeks without end. Finally since they have become so agile and there reactions are heightened to the maxim they can often partially dodge incredibly fast and strong attacks taking much less damage along with giving them opening to counter attack with small weapons like daggers, short swords, and hand axes. 

Revamped Contract

The Devil contract becomes much more useful for the devil Hunter giving the hunter more uses and increased damage but the cost of summoning the devil each time becomes more costly too. Certain contracts might even gain extra abilities or attacks as the devil gives and takes more from the hunter letting them use more of their power in exchange for more flesh and blood of the contract holder.

Armored Octopus Devil

The Octopus devil allows the contract holder to gain certain damage resistance for periods of time along with increased usage of its already given abilities. The contract holder can take more hits to continue slaying devils and feeding the Octopus devil more blood.

Fox Devils fancy

The fox Devil gives more options for combat as it begins to like the contract holder much more letting them even use it for a powerful bite attack. The contract holder can use the fox devil more often because of the developing relationship but it also begins to want more of the contract holders flesh and blood as it begins to like the devil hunter more

Serpentine Speed

The Snake devil contract becomes much more beneficial for both parties as the snake devil allows increased movement when in combat. This increase in movement is not in distance but rather the speed of movement allowing the contract holder to enter and exit the enemies melee range without opening up opportunities to attack. The snake devil also begins to devour the corpses of the enemies you kill when you use it for the final blow allowing you to regain a charge of increased movement twice per short rest as long as the serpent is getting his meals.

Beyond just a contract

The Devil that has been in contact with the hunter has fully realized the benefits it can gain from being in a contract with the hunter. This allows the hunters to use the devil more often and gain more ways to use it offensively or defensively. These new abilities can sway the balance of the hunters encounters in there favor quite easily if used correctly. Although the price becomes much higher than ever before needing more flesh and blood of the contract holder than previously required.

Fox devils favorite hunter

The Fox Devil is more than willing to help out its favorite contract holder as long as she gets her end of the bargain. The fox devil allows the hunter to use both previous allowed attacks to be used more often. Along with  new attack they can use having the fox devil attempt to pounce and attack an enemy resulting in the enemy being knocked prone if successfully before the fox devil leaves.

Octopus Devils agreement

The octopus devil has become more favorable to the hunter even helping them beyond what it is supposed to do. When an enemy becomes grappled by the octopus devil it begins to constrict the enemy while keeping them trapped and out of the hunters way dealing damage that will not give the enemy any chance to try and escape again as the enemy would normally have.

Snake Devils speciality

The snake devil while always giving out the same contracts and abilities often doesn’t give the hunter its full potential when they first make the contract. The hunter now gains more uses of most abilities while also gaining a new tail attack that can be used more often than the other abilities while not losing much of the damage.

Master of combat

Devil Hunters are incredibly skilled close combat fighters being able to fight incredibly powerful devils with normal weapons. They have been trained in almost every small to medium weapon to be able to attack and stay agile while in combat.
