Base Class: Monk
"Tell me, What kind of woman is your type?"
You have taken up the simply named "Boogie Woogie" technique. Shockingly powerful when applied correctly, the premise is simple, clap your hands and swap places with someone or something. Never underestimate a smart man with a simple power.
Mental CPU
Starting at 3rd level, your self proclaimed 530,000 IQ Mental CPU allows you to dissect your enemies’ tactics in battle. You have advantage on Insight checks to learn about your enemies abilities or weaknesses, and doing so doesn’t cost an action in combat.
Boogie Woogie
Upon selecting this subclass at 3rd level, you gain the ability to change places with people at the clap of your hands.
As a bonus action, you can spend 1 Focus Point to clap your hands and magically swap places with a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. An unwilling creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Focus save DC to resist the effect.
- If the target fails the saving throw, they have disadvantage on their next attack roll.
- If you swap places with a willing ally, and either of you ends up within 5 feet of an enemy, you gain advantage on your next attack roll against that enemy.
To use this ability, both of your hands must be free.
Besto Friendo
Starting at 6th level, your reaction speed allows you to protect your new best friend with a swift Boogie Woogie swap. You gain the following benefits.
- You can now use Boogie Woogie to target another creature instead of yourself when swapping places.
- When you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you is hit by an attack roll, you can use your reaction to spend 1 Focus Point and clap your hands, swapping the target with another creature of your choice within 30 feet of you. The chosen creature must make a Constitution saving throw, becoming the target of the attack on a failure, using the same roll. On a successful save the chosen creature does not get swapped.
Brother
At 11th level, your mastery of Boogie Woogie allows you to weave it seamlessly into your movements.
- When you take a Bonus Action other than Boogie Woogie, you can also use Boogie Woogie immediately after that Bonus Action. You must still spend the appropriate Focus Points for both bonus actions.
- When you swap places with an ally, your ally can make one attack as a reaction with advantage against any enemy within reach.
Victory
Once you reach 17th level, your mastery over the Boogie Woogie technique has led you to one inescapable conclusion. You gain the following benefits.
- The range of your Boogie Woogie abilities increases to 60 feet.
- You can now target an additional creature with your Boogie Woogie that is either within 5 feet of you or your first target. The target teleports with whoever it is next to, and must also make a Constitution saving throw if it is unwilling.
