Base Class: Barbarian
Maybe you became infected during a chaotic period of your life. Maybe the disease is genetic and symptoms were inevitable. Maybe you just picked up someone else's mug of brew by mistake. One way or another, you have become infected with an obscure and dangerous disease that fills you with a cold rage like no other.
Most of the time you're just a tea-drinking, disease-ridden weirdo, but your rage manifests as a deadly poisonous gas. Whether you're looking for a cure or proud of your pestilence, the Path of the Infected is choked in pus and pain.
Noxious Rage
When you go into a rage, take 3d6 poison damage as green fumes pour out of your mouth. If a creature begins its turn within melee range of you, it takes 1d6 of poison damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Patient Zero
At 6th level, your disease is so rampant that it can no longer be contained to just your body. 1d4 times per long rest, you can spew a 60 ft. line of vomit as an action. Everyone in the line makes a Constitution saving throw (DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your CON modifier). On a failed save, a target takes 4d8 damage and is poisoned for a minute. On a successful save, a target takes half damage and is not poisoned.
Asymptomatic
At 6th level, you become resistant to poison damage. At 10th level, you become immune to poison damage.
Infectious Fury
At 10th level, your plague begins to affect those around you. The third time anyone enters your Noxious Rage, they must make a CON save (DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your CON modifier). On a success, they become immune to the disease. Your Infectious Fury no longer affects them and they take no damage from being in your Noxious Rage.
On a failed save, the character immediately falls unconscious and makes a death saving throw. The character will then remain unconscious for days, making a death saving throw each day. A Greater Restoration will immediately cure the character of disease. A Lesser Restoration will not cure the character, but will replace that day's death saving throw with a success.
Exposure Therapy
When you take poison damage at 14th level, you heal the amount instead. This does not include the damage taken from Noxious Rage.
