Dragon Domain

Clerics of Dragon gods venerate beings of awesome power, whose living vassals surpass all other creatures in their strength and majesty. Whether a follower of Tiamat, Bahamut, Tymora, or some other forgotten draconic deity, few can doubt the rationale for the priest's veneration.

Homebrew Note: The complete version of this domain utilizes content from the Player's Handbook and Xanathar's Guide to Everything. However, the subclass cannot be shared with the community while those spells are attached. To complete this subclass, you will need to add this subclass and the homebrew spell "Wave of Frost" to your homebrew collection. After adding them to your homebrew collection, when you assign the domain to a character, add the following spells at the appropriate levels to their cleric spell list:

Draconic Presence

At 1st level when you choose this domain, you gain proficiency with heavy armor and learn the cantrip Thaumaturgy if you don’t already know it.

Channel Divinity: Dragon Fear

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to frighten nearby enemies.

You can use your Channel Divinity to emit the Frightful Presence of the dragons you worship. As an action, you force each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. The frightened creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Dragon's Fury

Starting at 6th level, you may choose either Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Stinking Cloud, or [Tooltip Not Found] to add to your spell list. You may cast this spell without using a spell slot. Once you have cast the spell this way, you may not do so again using this ability until you have completed a short rest.

Dragon's Fury - Fireball

You learn the spell Fireball, which can be cast using the Dragon's Fury ability.

Dragon's Fury - Lightning Bolt

You learn the spell Lightning Bolt, which can be cast using the Dragon's Fury ability.

Dragon's Fury - Stinking Cloud

You learn the spell Stinking Cloud, which can be cast using the Dragon's Fury ability.

Dragon's Fury - Wave of Frost

You learn the spell [Tooltip Not Found], which can be cast using the Dragon's Fury ability.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Draconic Avatar

At 17th level, you are able to cast True Polymorph with the following adjustments:

• You may only target yourself.
• The new form must be of the Dragon type.
• You do not need to maintain concentration on the spell.
• The spell still ends if you are reduced to 0 hit points, with any excess damage carrying over to your normal form.
• The spell ends after an hour, if it is not otherwise ended or dispelled earlier.

Once you cast the spell using this ability, you may not do so again until after you have completed a long rest.
