Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Flavor: You’re a Warforged, Autognome, Construct Reborn, or have some major enhancements made to your body. You quite literally run on electricity (Or harnessed lightning magic for low-tech settings), and when things get serious, sometimes people get shocked at what you can do.

Level 3: Charged Up

While you’re raging, you deal an additional 1d6 lightning damage when you hit with a melee weapon attack. This increases to 2d6 at 9th level and to 3d6 at 16th level. However, every time you hit a creature while raging, Rage’s remaining duration is decreased by 1 round. When you exit rage, you can use your reaction to shock yourself, taking twice the number of dice as your lightning damage and restarting your rage without consuming a use.

Level 6: Lightningrod

At 6th level, whenever one or more allies within 30 feet of you takes lightning damage, you can use your reaction to take all of it in their place. If you do so, your movement speed is doubled until the end of your next turn.

Level 10: Maintained Stability

Starting at 10th level, rage no longer prevents you from casting spells or concentrating on spells and other features. Additionally while you are raging, when a condition or effect is preventing you from making a melee attack, you can make a Constitution saving throw against the effect’s DC to ignore it for the purposes of making melee attacks for that turn.

Level 14: Circuit Fryer

At 14th level, as an action you can strike the ground with a melee weapon and let out an eruption of electricity in a 60 foot radius. Every creature of your choice within the radius must make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC = 8 + proficiency + Con modifier), taking lightning damage equal to a crit from your melee weapon on failure, or half on success. Afterwards, your rage ends and you are paralyzed for 1 round, and this paralysis can not be healed.
