Base Class: Bard
Adherents of the College of Eloquence master the art of oratory. Persuasion is regarded as a high art, and a well-reasoned, well-spoken argument often proves more powerful than objective truth. These bards wield a blend of logic and theatrical wordplay, winning over skeptics and detractors with logical arguments, and plucking at heartstrings to appeal to the emotions of entire audiences.
Silver Tongue
Beginning at the 3rd level, you possess a knack for uttering the precise words right when they are needed most. During a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check, you have the ability to consider a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Unsettling Words
Additionally, at the 3rd level, you have the ability to weave words infused with magic that sow doubt within a creature, unsettling its resolve. Using a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and select a creature within 60 feet of you that you can see. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die, and the chosen creature must subtract the number rolled from the next saving throw it makes before the beginning of your next turn.
Unfailing Inspiration
At 6th level, your words of inspiration carry such persuasive force that others feel compelled to excel. Whenever a creature adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, if the roll fails, the creature retains the Bardic Inspiration die.
Universal Speech
At the 6th level, you've acquired the knack of making your speech comprehensible to any creature. Using an action, select one or more creatures within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature). The chosen creatures can magically comprehend you, irrespective of the language you speak, for 1 hour.
After using this feature, you must finish a long rest before using it again, unless you expend a spell slot to activate it anew.
Infectious Inspiration
At the 14th level, when you effectively inspire someone, the potency of your eloquence can now extend to someone else. When a creature within 60 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to bolster a different creature (other than yourself) that can hear you within 60 feet of you, granting it a Bardic Inspiration die without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses.
You can utilize this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
