Revel in Nature’s Narcotics

Druids of the Circle of Poppies are experts at relieving pain. Drawing upon the many analgesics of nature, their magic bolsters allies in the face of dire stress, and lulls even the most belligerent of enemies into eternal sleep.

Level 3: Field of Flowers

As a Magic action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape to grow a field of soothing poppies on the ground in a 30-foot Cube within 90 feet of yourself for 1 minute or until you have the Incapacitated condition or die.

Each creature in your Field of Flowers must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, it gains the effects of the Calm Emotions spell until the end of its next turn. A creature also makes this save if it enters your Field of Flowers for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there.

Level 3: Scent of Slumber

Your magic anesthetizes foes. You always have the Sleep spell prepared, and when you cast it using a level 2+ spell slot, you can increase the radius of the spell’s Sphere by 5 feet for each spell slot level above 1.

You also have a special spell slot that can only be used to cast Sleep. The spell slot’s level is equal to half your Druid level, to a maximum of level 5. You regain this spell slot when you finish a Short or Long Rest.

Level 6: Earthly Bliss

As a Bonus Action, you can touch a creature to fill it with numbing pleasure for 10 minutes. For the duration, the creature adds 1d6 to its Constitution saving throws and reduces any damage it takes by 1d6.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Level 10: Fragrant Lethargy

Whenever a creature fails its save against your Field of Flowers, you can dull its senses until the end of its next turn. While its senses are dulled in this way, the creature’s Speed is halved, and it has a 1d4 penalty to D20 Tests.

Level 14: Rest of Eternity

When you cast Sleep, you can cause it to impart irresistible rest. Creatures that would automatically succeed on saving throws against this spell or have Advantage on saving throws against this spell must roll normally to avoid its effects instead.

In addition, if you maintain your Concentration on the Sleep spell for its entire duration, you can cause each creature of your choice that is still affected by it to remain Unconscious until the condition is ended by the Greater Restoration, Heal, or Wish spell.

Once you cause the Unconscious condition in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
