Base Class: Barbarian
For some Barbarians slaying and dismembering their foes is just part of the job, for others it’s a passion. Barbarians who follow the Path of the Butcher take great joy in taking their enemies apart, but they also know how to utilize the remains of their enemies efficiently. In combat these Barbarians know where to cut to bleed out their foes and even under rage they don’t fail to be precise. These warriors also know how to make weapons, food or other useful items out of slain foes.
Barbarians that follow this Path are often butchers, hunters or craftsmen. They honor the art of butchering but can sometimes be overexcited to execute these arts. They traditionally only use piercing or slashing weapons as cutting with a club can get too messy.
Art of Butchering
At 3rd level, when you adopt this path you learn how to use the tools and skills of your craft. You gain proficiency in Cooking Utensil’s, Leatherworker tools and animal handling. You also learn how to make food out of your slain foes and how to use their remains to craft certain items.
As part of a short rest you can harvest the body of a dead creature killed within the past 24 hours to prepare rations, provided it has flesh or similar substance to make food out of. You can also harvest their hide and bones (if the creature possesses any) instead to make a shield, armor, weapon or other reasonable item equal to a certain gold cost (which is noted in the Butchery Table). You can only harvest a dead creature once and only harvest one creature per short rest.
To use this ability you need appropriate artisan’s tools, like leatherworker tools for example. The amounts of meat or material worth you get depends on the creature’s size as shown in the table below.

Bloodletting
Beginning at 3th level, you know how to cut your foes to cause horrendous bleeding. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack and rolled a number equal to or higher than 20 minus your proficiency bonus on the attack roll (before modifiers are applied) you can cause the creature to gain 1 point of bleeding.
A creature takes 1d6 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns for each point of bleeding it has. If the creature receives any kind of healing it loses 1 point of bleeding per 10 hit points regained. The creature can also use their action to try to succeed on a medicine check against DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your strength modifier or use a healers kit to lose all points of bleeding.
The damage die for the necrotic damage changes as you gain levels in this subclass. It becomes a d8 when you reach 6th level, a d10 at 10th level and a d12 at 14th level. Only creatures with blood or a similar bodily fluids are affected by this feature.
Harvest the Meat
Starting at 6th level, your rage also fuels your hunger. While raging, if a creature dies within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to consume some of their flesh to gain temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level. They vanish if any of them are left when your rage ends. You can use this feature once per rage.
Remember: Temporary Hit Points don't stack!
Speak with your DM to consider if this works on creatures without blood or flesh (maybe you eat their essence out or something like that)
Butcher's Banquet
At 10th level, you can use the remains of a creature to prepare a banquet. As part of a long rest you can use Cooking Utensil's and the remains of a large, huge or gargantuan creature, that was killed within the past 24 hours and hasn't been harvested yet, to make a banquet that bolsters the vitality of a number of creatures equal to your profiency bonus. This banquet is enough to feed the creatures for the day and takes 1 hour to consume (this can be done as part of a long rest). A creature who partakes in the banquet has advantage on Constitution saving throws and gets 4d6 temporary hit points for the next 24 hours.
Joy of the Slaughterman
Starting at 14th level, the delight of a good slaughter sometimes overwhelms you. While you are raging and a creature within 30 feet of you, that you can see, takes damage from a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to move up to half your movement speed to the damaged creature and make a melee attack against it, provided it is in within your range. You still cause opportunity attacks with this movement.
