Base Class: Bard
A dexterous spell caster who taunts the "gods" and dodges divine wrath to instead strike their own target. You exploit the true weaknesses of the gods, their pride. For thoes who call themselves divine, they seem to have such thin skin.
The Insult Caster uses Dexterity as their spellcasting ability. All spells cast require a Spell Save DC of 8 + PB from the caster or themselves be struck by the channeled spell.
Through heresy may you find power.
Quick Wit & Fast Feet
Spellcasting Ability. Dexterity is your spellcasting ability for your spells.
Spellcasting Focus. Your spells only require verbal components to cast.
Divine Wrath. All spells cast require a Spell Save DC of 8 + Proficiency Bonus from the caster or themselves be struck by the channeled spell.
Level 3: Source of Power
All your spells are just spicy Vicious Mockery.
You always have cantrip Vicious Mockery prepared. This does not count against your spell list.
Level 3: Knowledge Through Heresy
You gain proficiency in Religion.
Level 6: Silver Tongue
The "gods" would love nothing more than to cut out your tongue.
Add your Charisma Modifier to your Spell Attack and Spell Save DC.
Level 6: Smite the Heretics!
When you take the Attack action on your turn, you may additionally cast a cantrip that has the casting time of one action. If the caster fails their Dexterity saving throw, the target takes the same amount damage as the caster. This damage cannot be reduced in any way.
Level 14: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive & Dodge
If you can dodge your tab, you can dodge a spell!
You have advantage on saving throws against spells cast by yourself and creatures within 5 feet of you.
Level 14: In on the Joke
Once per short rest, you can cast a spell at one level higher than the spell slot extended.
