Base Class: Sorcerer
Few can call themselves natural foci, even less are aware of the fact. Born with a talent to directly manipulate magic itself, natural foci may experience convenient occurrences around them. While most think of these effects as luck or some guardian deity, some learn of the fact that it was their doing all along, be it by another focus telling them, a burst of emotion or simply luck.
Focus Method
To gain the ability to consciously manipulate magic, a natural focus needs to develop an individual method of forming it to their will (Dancing, using a sword, saying a specific word, ...).
Once a focus learned to feel the magic around them, it is able to feel the slightest disturbances of magic and gains Advantage on Arcana and Perception rolls regarding magic.
Additionally the natural focus develops a distinguishing feature while casting spells (Examples: Glowing Eyes, Shimmering Skin, cracking earth, arcane static, ...). The higher the spell slot used, the stronger the effect.
Manipulate Magic
Natural foci don't need materials to cast non ritual spells, but casting magic lays a toll on them. Each time a natural focus casts a spell of first level or higher that isn't cast as a ritual they must make an Intelligence saving throw against a DC of 7+ the half the spells level rounded down.
On a fail they aren't able to come up with a source of energy other than themselves and take the spells level times d4 damage.
Unwilling Donation
Starting at 6th level a natural focus can use a chosen target to power its spells on a successful saving throw triggered by Manipulate Magic. The target receive twice as much necrotic damage as the natural focus would receive on a failed saving throw. This Feature can be used limited times in between long rests
Extended Manipulation Reach
Starting at 14th level, a natural focus learns to manipulate magic farther away from them. Spells can be cast from anywhere you can see within 60 ft.
Spell Duality
Starting at 18th level, a natural focus can cast spells and cantrips twice.
