Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who follow the Path of the Supernova are warriors from cosmos that channel the destructive power of collapsing stars. Their rage burns like stellar fire, radiating energy and unleashing shockwaves that devastate the battlefield. These warriors embody the primal energy of the cosmos, turning their inner fury into an awe-inspiring display of power.
Stellar Rage
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, while raging, you emit a 10-foot radius aura of radiant energy that lasts until your rage ends. Creatures of your choice that start or end their turn in the aura take radiant damage equal to your Rage Damage bonus.
Additionally, when you use Reckless Attack while raging, your weapon attacks deal extra radiant damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level.
Explosive Impact
Beginning at 6th level, your strikes carry the force of an erupting star. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can force it and any creature within 5 feet of it, to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the target(s) are pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Cosmic Eruption
By 10th Level, you have learned to harness your cosmic energy into a powerful burst attack. As an action, you can force each creature of your choice within 20 feet of you to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, a creature takes radiant damage equal to 5d10 and is pushed up to 20 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest unless you expend another use of your Rage to activate it again.
Supernova's Collapse
By 14th Level, your cosmic energy has become volatile. When your rage ends, you can release a final burst of cosmic energy. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, a creature takes 8d6 radiant damage and is blinded until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and isn’t blinded.
This feature can be activated by ending or rage early or falling unconscious. Additionally once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
