Base Class: Ranger
A reaction to incursions of otherworldly threats, void hunters are an ancient order dedicated to hunting down and stamping out aberrations. Primal spirits of the wild aid them in their quest, helping them to adapt to the mind-bending tactics of their foes and warding off attacks. While carrying a reputation for being odd and intimidating, most void hunters have a heart for their homeland and a loyalty that drives them onwards. As a void hunter, you have likely been touched by the Outer Plane in some way, whether surviving a monstrous attack, a strange dream, or perhaps a magical voyage; this contact will likely shape the vision of your hunt, and may even attract others to your cause.
Level 3: Umbra Armor
Your senses have sharpened, letting you easily detect extraplanar threats. In addition, you can gather the primal energy of the wilds around you to protect against aberrations and other foes, which takes the form of wispy and ethereal barely visible animal spirits.
You treat Aberrations as a Favored Enemy. In addition, you have a Wisdom modifier bonus to your unarmored AC.
Level 3: Predator’s Adaptation
You have specialized in adapting the primal energy you call on to take on the traits of a specific natural predator, such as a hawk or leopard. You gain one of the following feature options of your choice.
Bear Claws
When you hit the target of your Hunter's Mark with an opportunity attack, its speed is reduced to zero until the end of your next turn. In addition, you gain +1 HP per level.
Dragon Fangs
Once per turn, when you roll your Hunter's Mark die, you may roll it twice and take either result. In addition, you can score a critical hit with weapon attacks on a roll of 19-20.
Hawk Glide
Once per turn, when you hit the target of your Hunter's Mark, you may move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks. In addition, you have advantage on Perception checks that rely on sight.
Leopard Spots
You have advantage on Stealth checks to Hide, and can move stealthily at a normal speed. In addition, you have Advantage on Initiative.
Level 7: Iron Will
Your own mental acumen is enhanced by ancient void hunter techniques that make your mind and willpower almost unbreakable, allowing you to resist psychic assaults easily.
You have resistance to Psychic damage, and advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened.
Level 11: Pack Tactics
Your athleticism and reflexes even faster than before, you can strike with savage speed when your prey's attention is divided.
When a creature marked by your Hunter's Mark is damaged by an ally and you are within 90 feet of it, you may make a weapon attack against it as a reaction.
Level 15: On the Hunt
Now being truly wild, when you fell your prey, you can draw on your predatory instincts to chase down any foes left standing.
When a creature marked by your Hunter's Mark dies, you may cast Hunter's Mark on a creature within 30 feet of it and move up to your speed towards them, ignoring difficult terrain and not provoking opportunity attacks. In addition, when you roll Initiative and have no uses of your Hunter's Mark left, you regain one.
