Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Paladins that follow this oath seek to help those around them deal with the grief of losing another and transitioning both affected parties into the next phase of their existence. These paladins are often seen holding candlelight vigils for the fallen or carrying out the last words of a comrade.

Many that sworn to this oath decide to worship death gods or gods of with strong ties to loss and sadness. Others devote themselves to creatures like Phoenixes and Will-o-Wisps for their connection with death and the flames that burn away the pain.

The tenets they follow are the following:

  • Grief means we cared for what we lost
  • Honor those that have left, Celebrate those still here
  • Pain is natural but it shall not consume us.
