Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Fascinated by the potential of arcane-infused meals, you began your journey by mastering the fundamentals of spellcasting. However, your insatiable curiosity led you to experiment with the magical infusion of food, unlocking the beneficial properties hidden within every ingredient. Through this unique blend of culinary artistry and wizardry, you create enchanted meals that enhance the abilities of your allies.

Arcane Cookware

3rd-level Flavor Feaster feature

Starting this level you gain proficiency with the Cook's Utensils. Additionally you can use it as a spellcasting focus.

Recipe Cookbook

3rd-level Flavor Feaster feature

With your experience and knowledge on arcane infused food, you document your findings in an unconventional spellbook which is your Recipe Cookbook.

While you are holding the cookbook, it grants the following benefits:

  • You can cast any known spell as a ritual once per long rest.
  • Whenever you cast a ritual spell you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.

If necessary, you can replace the book over the course of a short rest by using the Cook's Utensils to prepare an arcane broth that will allow you to recall and transfer the recipes in a blank book or a magic spellbook to which you’re attuned. At the end of the rest, the recipes are transferred to the new book. If the previous cookbook still existed somewhere, all the spells vanish from its pages

Arcane Appetite

3rd-level Flavor Feaster feature

Your fascination with blending arcane arts and the culinary craft has broadened your magical repertoire. You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Flavor Feaster Spells table. These spells count as wizard spells for you and cannot be cast at higher spell level, but they don’t count against the number of wizard spells you prepare.

Situational Snack

6th-level Alchemist feature

Whenever you finish a long rest, you can magically infuse a situational snack. Roll on the Situational Snack table for the snack's effect, which is triggered when someone eats the snack. As an action, a creature can eat the snack or administer it to an incapacitated creature.

Creating a situational snack requires you to have Cook's Utensils on your person, and any snack you create with this feature lasts until it is eaten or until the end of your next long rest.

When you reach certain levels in this class, you can make more snacks at the end of a long rest: two at 9th level, three at 13th level and four at 17th level. Roll for each snack's effect separately.

Revitalizing Spices

10th-level Flavor Feaster feature

You can incorporate revitalizing spices into some of your works:

  • Whenever a creature eats a situational snack you created, the creature gains temporary hit points equal to 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1 temporary hit point).
  • You can cast mass healing word without expending a spell slot and without preparing the spell, provided you use cook's utensils as the spellcasting focus. You can do so a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Flavorful Feast Mastery

14th-level Flavor Feaster feature

You have perfected the art of arcane culinary infusion, enabling you to prepare enchanted meals that fully revitalize you and your allies. When you take a long rest, you can prepare a magical feast that provides the following benefits:

  • The duration of the long rest is reduced to half for you and your allies.
  • Each ally who partakes in the feast gains temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. These temporary hit points last for 1 hour after the long rest.
  • Each ally has advantage on their next skill check made within 1 hour after the long rest.
  • All points of exhaustion are removed from you and your allies.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until 3 days have passed.

Chef's Resilience

14th-level Flavor Feaster feature

Your extensive exposure to various culinary mishaps, including countless instances of food poisoning, has made you highly resistant to such risks. Additionally, your knowledge of arcane remedies allows you to alleviate certain ailments:

  • You gain resistance to poison damage, and you are immune to the poisoned condition.
  • You can cast greater restoration without expending a spell slot, without preparing the spell, and without material components, provided you use cook's utensils as the spellcasting focus. Once you cast the spell with this feature, you can’t cast the spell with it again until you finish a long rest.
