Subclass Features

Level 3: Touch of Exchange

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to manipulate the essence of living beings and objects through touch.

  • Energy Shift: When you strike a creature with an unarmed strike, you can transfer energy between you and the target. Choose one:
    • Drain: The target takes additional damage equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you regain hit points equal to the damage dealt.
    • Empower: You can transfer your hit points to the target, healing them for the amount lost (minimum 1 hit point).
  • Energy Exchange: Spend 1 or more ki point to transfer 1 or more energy points to an ally you touch. The recipient cannot exceed their maximum point pool.
*Energy points can be a pool of lucky points, Sorcery points, Cursed points, etc.*

Level 6: Echoing Flow

At 6th level, your mastery of transference extends beyond physical contact.

  • Distant Flow: You can use your transference abilities on creatures within 30 feet.
  • Flow of Attributes: As a bonus action, spend 2 or more ki points to transfer 2 or more points from one of your ability scores to another willing creature for 1 minute. Alternatively, you can drain 2 or more points from an unwilling target with a successful unarmed strike (Wisdom save DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Wisdom modifier).
  • Stat Buffs: +2 Wisdom, +2 Dexterity.

Level 11: Balanced Exchange

At 11th level, you can balance the forces of the cosmos through transference.

  • Aura of Flow: As an action, create an aura of energy exchange in a 60-foot radius for 1 minute. Allies in the aura gain the following benefits:
    • Regain 5 ki points when they reduce a creature to 0 hit points.
    • Heal for 1d10 hit points at the start of their turn if they are below half their maximum hit points.
  • Life and Death Cycle: When a creature within your aura dies, you can spend 3 ki points to redistribute their remaining hit points (up to their maximum) among yourself and your allies.

Level 17: Essence Mastery

At 17th level, you achieve unparalleled mastery over transference.

  • Cosmic Redistribution: As an action, choose up to 10 creatures within 120 feet. Redistribute hit points, ki, spell slots, and other resources (such as sorcery points or rage) between them. No creature can exceed its maximum capacity for any resource.
  • Unending Flow: When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, regain all spent ki points.
