Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Worshiping the Tarrasque has many perks and benefits that most people, even powerful spell casters, can only dream of. While worshiping a Tarrasque is not exactly a recommended thing to try and do, many people still do. These people commonly become known as "Tarrasque Priests". they live secluded from society, partially because of choice, but mostly because they know that they will never be excepted into the world. Those who take this path rarely live to die of old age, most are killed either in an attempt to please or awaken a Tarrasque, by a group of people who find their cult evil, or by being sacrificed to a Tarrasque themselves, though most find this to be a great honor. Once awakened, the Tarrasque demands a lot from it's servants, continual sacrifice is required to feed the creature. Any who can not meet the demands of the monster are consumed without a second thought. This beast is driven by hunger and not much else, so beware.

Expanded Spell List

The Tarrasque's extreme, raw magical energy lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Spell Level Spells

speak with animals, command

2nd

5th

Increased Strength and Durability

Once you choose this pact, your Strength and Constitution scores go up by 1, as well as a bonus point that you can add to either Strength or Constitution. This benefit can increase your STR and CON scores above 20.

Limited Magic Resistance

Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to any spell or magical effect of 4th level or lower. This ability grows to include any spell of 6th level or lower once you reach level 10. And this ability grows once again to include any spell of 8th level or lower once you reach level 14.

Minor Reflective Carapace

Starting at 10th level, your AC becomes 17 when you are not wearing armor. Also, your skin becomes covered in a hard shell that can reflect some spells back at the caster.

Any time you are targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, roll a d6. On a 6, you take half damage, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from you, turning the caster into the target. and dealing half damage to the caster. (1/4 damage if there is a saving throw success)

One With the Tarrasque

Starting at 14th level, you can speak directly to a Tarrasque telepathically as long as you are on the same plane of existence as it. The Tarrasque can only answer your questions in simple terms (feelings/emotions/basic speech) if it even feels like answering at all. Bothering the Tarrasque in this way may anger it, or showing it proper reverence may pacify it. The Tarrasque's response is up to the DM. While "linked" to the Tarrasque in this way, you can target it with a mental spell (such as dominate beast or a spell that deals psychic damage) and the Tarrasque's magic resistance will NOT activate, allowing you at least one chance to magically harm it (but why would you if it is your god). Doing so will automatically end the telepathic link. Because you are linked to the Tarrasque at this time, you will also take half of any damage that it takes (including from your own spell).

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
