Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Going beyond the school specialization, you focus on a spell path starting from a cantrip all the way to 9th level

Spell Path

3rd level Spell Specialist Feature

  • Choose a spell school, from that school you can select one cantrip, one first level and one second level spell be part of your spell path.
  • Every time you gain access to a new spell level, you can add another spell of your chosen school to your spell path.
  • Spells from your path are always prepared and count as your prepared spells.

 Specialization Pool

3rd level Spell Specialist Feature

  • You get a Specialization Points pool equal to your Wizard Level. This pool does not reset except for latrer abilities.
  • Every time you use a spell slot to cast a spell from your spell line, add a number of spec point equal to half (rounded down, minimum 1) the spell level to your Spec Pool.
  • Once per turn when you cast a leveled spell, you can expend a nuber or Spec Points equal to its level to reduce the spell slot required (down to 0). This ability does not effect the spell effect or damage.
  • When you cast a spell not from your spell line of level 3 or higher, expend a Spec Point.

Specialized Metamagic

6th level Spell Specialist Feature

  • You learn two Metamagic options of your choice from the sorcerer class. You can use only one Metamagic option on a spell when you cast it, unless the option says otherwise.
  • You learn an additional Metamagic at level 10.
  • You can expend Spec Points instead of sorcery points on spell from your Spell Path. At level 14 this feature extends to the other spells from your chosen spell school, but at double the cost.

Spell Combo

10th level Spell Specialist Feature

As long as you keep casting spells of increasing level from your Spell Path each turn (every 6s), you get one of the following benefits:

  1. increased damage equal to your proficency bonus times the combo.
  2. increased DC equal to the combo.

Specialization Expertise

14th level Spell Specialist Feature

  • All spells from your Spell Path use double your proficency bonus for the purpose of calculating Attack and DC.
  • When you roll initiative, if your Spec Pool is empty, you gain 2 spec points.
