Base Class: Paladin
Paladins who take the Oath of the Order are sworn to serve a secret society, an ancient organization operating from the shadows to influence the world’s fate. These clandestine knights pledge their loyalty to the Order's mysterious mission, forsaking personal glory in favor of precise and calculated actions. Whether protecting ancient artifacts, silencing dangerous truths, or dismantling threats to their cause, an Oath of the Order Paladin acts as a divine instrument of their organization's will.
Unlike other Paladins who display their convictions openly, these guardians walk a more subtle path, veiling their faith in secrecy. Their sacred powers are channeled through their unwavering devotion to the Order, allowing them to deceive their enemies, shield allies from detection, and execute justice with ruthless efficiency. They serve not just as warriors but as spies, enforcers, and arbiters of the Order's truth.
Such Paladins tread a fine line between righteousness and pragmatism, for the Order's goals may sometimes challenge traditional morality. Their unyielding loyalty and willingness to act in shadows make them invaluable—and dangerous—servants of their cause.
Tenets of the Order:
- Loyalty to the Cause: Your allegiance to the Order supersedes all other bonds.
- Veil of Secrecy: The Order’s plans must never be revealed; operate in shadows.
- Serve with Precision: Every action must advance the mission; waste no effort.
- Judgment of the Unworthy: Those who threaten the Order must be neutralized.

Level 3: Level 3: Channel Divinity & Subtle Authority
At 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options and an additional feature related to your covert mission:
Channel Divinity: Mask of Deception
As an action, you touch yourself or a willing creature and alter their appearance. This functions like the disguise self spell and lasts for 1 hour or until dismissed (no concentration required).
Channel Divinity: Silent Command
You imbue your voice with divine authority. As an action, you target one creature within 30 feet that can hear you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you for 1 minute or until it takes damage. While charmed, it follows simple commands you give telepathically (e.g., "stay," "leave," "attack them").
Order’s Insight
Your training grants you the ability to analyze a situation quickly. You gain proficiency in Insight and Deception.
Level 7: Level 7: Aura of the Hidden Hand
Starting at 7th level, your presence shields your allies from detection. Creatures within 10 feet of you gain advantage on Stealth checks, and you and your allies can’t be tracked by nonmagical means. The advantage granted by this overrides disadvantage from wearing heavy armor.
Level 15: Level 15: Agent's Retribution
At 15th level, when a creature damages you, you can mark it with divine energy. The mark lasts for 1 minute, and the creature takes radiant damage equal to your Charisma modifier whenever it is attacked by you or an ally.
Level 20: Level 20: Herald of the Unseen Order
At 20th level, you can channel the Order’s full authority. As an action you gain for 1 minute,:
- You gain truesight out to 60 feet.
- You have advantage on all Charisma checks.
- Enemies within 30 feet who fail a Wisdom saving throw are frightened until the end of your next turn.
- Once during this duration, you can deal an extra 4d8 radiant damage when you hit a creature with an attack.
You can use this again after a long rest.
