Base Class: Monk
Your disciplined training has brought your physical and mental abilities to their peak. You have discovered how to bring your mind and body into perfect harmony, unlocking latent powers within yourself.
Level 3: The Enemy Without
Knowing yourself aids you in discerning the true nature of others. You have advantage on Wisdom(Insight) checks.
Level 3: Centering Trance
While you are unarmed or only wielding Monk Weapons, and you aren't wearing armor or wielding a shield, you can use your action to enter a sleep-like trance. You remain in the trance until the start of your next turn, and must maintain concentration while in this trance.
While in the trance:
- Your speed is reduced to 0.
- You can only use Reactions.
- You are blinded, closing your eyes to focus your mind. While blinded this way, you gain Tremorsense with a range of 15 feet.
If you lose concentration before the start of your next turn, the trance ends early, and you do not become "centered". If the trance ends successfully, you become "centered" for 1 minute. You stop being centered if you don armor, wield a shield, or use a weapon not considered a Monk Weapon.
Level 3: Unyielding Focus
When you make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on your Centering Trance, you can add your Wisdom modifier to the roll.
Level 3: Flawless Form
You gain the following abilities while centered:
- You have advantage on Dexterity checks.
- Once per turn, you can deal an extra Martial Arts die of damage to one creature you hit with an Unarmed Strike or Monk Weapon.
Level 3: Masterful Technique
At the start of your turn, you can use this feature to spend 1 Focus Point. Until the start of your next turn, your attack rolls with your Unarmed Strikes and Monk Weapons score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.
Starting at 11th level, if you use this feature while centered, your Unarmed Strikes and Monk Weapons score a Critical Hit on a roll of 18-20 on the d20.
You cannot use this feature while Unconscious.
Level 6: Instinctive Strikes
When a creature enters the range of your Unarmed Strikes or Monk Weapons, you can use your Reaction to make an Opportunity Attack against that creature.
Level 6: Imposing Strikes
When you hit a target that is one size larger than you or smaller with a melee attack, you can move the target up to 10 feet in a single direction. On a critical hit, you can move the target up to 30 feet in a single direction, and it must make a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked Prone. The save DC equals 8 plus your Wisdom modifier and Proficiency Bonus.
Level 11: Transcendent Form
While you are in your Centering Trance, your body hovers in place, and your Tremorsense is replaced by Blindsight with a range of 30 feet. While you are centered, you continue to have Blindsight, and you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Level 17: Perfected Technique
Each time you score a critical hit while your total number of Focus Points is below its maximum, you regain 1 Focus Point. You can regain Focus Points this way a number of times per turn equal to your Wisdom Modifier.
