Just as the storm follows its unyielding path, so too must I walk a path of honour. I will never stray from my moral code, regardless of the chaos that may surround me. -
Defend the Defenceless
The storm does not strike indiscriminately, but when it does, it clears the way for new growth. I will protect those who cannot protect themselves, using my power to shield the innocent from harm. -
Respect the Balance of Nature
The storm is a force of nature, and so too is my power. I will wield it with respect, ensuring it serves the purpose of restoring balance and never tipping into unchecked destruction. -
Honour the Fallen
I stand as a testament to those who fought before me. I will ensure their sacrifices are not forgotten and that their legacies live on in the battles I fight.
Level 3: Oath of Devotion Spells
The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of Devotion Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Lightning Strikes
When you take the Attack action and deal radiant damage to an enemy, you may choose to deal lightning or thunder damage instead of radiant damage.
Level 7: Aura of the Storm
You and your allies gain Resistance to lightning and thunder damage while in your Aura of the Storm (10ft radius). In addition, as a bonus action, you can cause a strong wind to whirl around you until you dismiss it as another bonus action, causing the following effects:
- Unprotected flames, torch-sized or smaller, are extinguished.
- The area counts as difficult terrain. You can choose any number of creatures to be immune to this effect.
- It hedges out vapor, gas, and fog that can be dispersed by strong wind.
At 18th level, the radius of this aura extends to 30 feet.
Level 15: Improved Aura of the Storm
Your Aura of the Storm radiates lightning, whenever a hostile creature within your aura makes an attack against you and you are not incapacitated, it takes lightning damage equal to your Charisma modifier. Your aura now extends to 30ft.
Level 20: Avatar of the Tempest
At 20th level, as an action, you can mantle the powers of a tempest deity. For 1 minute, your body crackles with thunder and lightning, and your eyes glow blue, revealing the raging storm within. You gain the following benefits:
- You are immune to lightning and thunder damage.
- You have a fly speed of 60 feet. If you move 20 feet or more straight toward a creature right before hitting it with a melee attack, the attack deals an extra 1d10 thunder damage to the target. Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a STR saving throw (DC {{savedc:str}}) or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.
- Lightning and thunder damage you deal bypasses resistance, and immunity only halves the damage. Creatures cannot benefit from the Lightning Absorption trait from damage you deal.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
