Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Blindness have forsaken their reliance on physical sight in order to develop a deeper connection to their other senses and the forces that govern the world. They train to sense the energies around them, focusing on their inner vision and using heightened awareness to navigate the world and engage in combat.

These monks may be born with the loss of sight or may choose to embrace blindness as a form of enlightenment. Regardless, they move and fight with grace, perception, and power beyond what their physical body could accomplish

Level 3: Blind Sight

At 3rd level, you gain a unique perception that allows you to "see" the world in a different way. You gain Blindsight within a range of 15 feet. This ability allows you to perceive creatures and objects in this radius regardless of being able to see them with your eyes, as long as they are within your range. You can still be blinded in areas where you cannot perceive through other senses (such as in magical darkness).

Additionally, you can use your Wisdom modifier for all checks related to perception, insight, and initiative rolls instead of the usual modifiers.

Level 6: Inner Balance

At 6th level, you develop the ability to detect emotions and energy around you. You can detect the presence of creatures within a 30-foot radius of yourself. You can detect the creature's general location, but not their exact location. This sense also grants an advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks to determine a creature's intent.

You can also expend 1 Ki point to gain a one-minute advantage on a Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Insight) test.

Level 11: Blind Fury

At 11th level, you can perceive your foes' actions as if they were right in front of you. When you are not wearing armor or carrying a shield, you can calculate your AC using your Dexterity modifier rather than your Wisdom modifier. Furthermore, you can no longer be snuck up on. You may expend 2 ki points when attacked to perform an unarmed strike or an attack with a "Monk Weapon" on the attacker.

Level 17: True Sight

At 17th level, you reach the peak of your training in the Way of Blindness. You gain Truesight within 30 feet of you. This allows you to see creatures and objects for what they are, even through illusions, invisibility, and magical darkness. If a creature within 30 feet of you is disguised or utilizing magical deception, you can see through it to determine their actual form and intent.

Additionally, you can use your Deflect Missiles ability against ranged attacks from enemies within 30 feet, even if you can't see them. On a successful deflection, you can return the projectile to the attacker as a free action (no Ki required), dealing your Martial Arts damage.
