Base Class: Paladin

Tenants of Finality

The tenants of finality hold paladins to the duties expected of a follower of Kelemvor.

Be the Guide. Console the dying, tending to their last wishes and provide burial services to those who died alone. Show reverence to the dead, and provide comfort to those who were left to grieve the deceased.

Become the Bulwark. Set out to cure diseases and defend the populace from monsters so they need not die before their time.

Become the Weapon. Eradicate undeath in all its various forms and the necromantic practices that bring it about. Show no mercy to any creature of undeath or those who propigate their existence.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Conquest Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Oath of Conquest Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Divine Surge. You can use your Channel Divinity to push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment. On your turn, you can take one additional action.

Marked for the Grave. You can use your Channel Divinity to mark another creature’s life force for termination. As an action, you choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you, cursing it until the end of your next turn. The next time you or an ally of yours hits the cursed creature with an attack, the creature has vulnerability to all of that attack's damage, and then the curse ends.

Aura of the Sentinel

Starting at 7th level, you can impede death's progress while you’re not incapacitated. When you or a creature you can see within 10 feet of you suffers a critical hit, you can use your reaction to turn that hit into a normal hit. Any effects triggered by a critical hit are canceled.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Undying Sentinel

Starting at 15th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead.

Additionally, you suffer none of the drawbacks of old age, and you can't be aged magically.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

L20 Ability

At 20th level,
