Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Gunzerker Barbarian is the embodiment of unrelenting chaos and brute force, channeling their raw strength to dominate the battlefield with an arsenal of firearms and crossbows. These warriors reject the delicate precision of traditional ranged combat, instead embracing a wild and explosive style that prioritizes overwhelming firepower and fearless aggression. Whether charging into the fray with cannons in hand or unleashing twin barrages from dual-wielded weapons, Gunzerkers turn any skirmish into a thunderous cacophony of destruction.

Fueled by their rage, Gunzerkers thrive in the midst of chaos, laughing in the face of misfired shots and treating weapon malfunctions as challenges to overcome with sheer force of will. Their relentless energy and disregard for convention make them unpredictable forces of nature, capable of devastating enemies with both their firepower and their unyielding spirit. In the hands of a Gunzerker, even the most cumbersome weapon becomes an extension of their fury, transforming the battlefield into a storm of bullets, fire, and shattered foes.

Gunslinger's Grit

Starting at level 3, You thrive in the chaos of battle, even when it comes to using volatile weapons. You slap, kick, or otherwise abuse your misbehaving weapon to force it back into action.

Once per turn, while raging, when you make an attack roll with a firearm and roll a  1, you can choose to reroll the attack. You must use the new roll. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus before taking a per long rest.

Reckless Attack can now apply to any ranged weapon attacks you make.

Two Tickets To the Gun Show

Starting at Level 3, your unrelenting strength lets you turn firearms and crossbows into instruments of brute force.

Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with crossbows and firearms (if your setting includes them).

Pack a Punch: When you make ranged a weapon attacks with a firearm or crossbow, you can use your Strength modifier instead of your Dexterity modifier for attack and damage rolls. and you can add your Rage bonus damage to ranged attacks while raging.

Weightlessness: Ammo and Weapons weight is cut in half

Akimbo Choas

Starting at level 6, You master the art of dual-wielding firearms, even those that would normally require two hands.

  • You gain the ability to dual-wield one-handed ranged weapons. while you do so you can ignore the Loading property of the weapons you wield.
  • While raging you can dual-wield other larger ranged weapons with great effort that would require 2 hands (like rifles, shotguns, or light/heavy crossbows), you can reload both these weapons at the same time but following the loading property  of said weapons. This does not include siege or mounted weapons
  • While raging, your ranged attacks deal an extra 1d4 damage of the weapon's type.
  • While wielding a ranged weapon in one hand and nothing in the other, you can use your free hand to perform "The Gesture" as a bonus action. "The Gesture" confers the following benefits:
    • Your next attack with your firearm deals an additional weapon die of damage.
    • Chose a target within 30 feet of you that can see you make "The Gesture". That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or have disadvantage on attack rolls against all creatures except you until the end of its next turn. If a creature succeeds the save it can no longer be offended by "The Gesture" for 1d6 hour(s).

Cannonball Fury

Starting at 10th Level. You laugh in the face of what’s "impractical," wielding heavy weapons like they’re toys.

  • You can use mounted or siege weapons (like cannons, ballistae, or gatling guns) as if they had the two-handed property. These weapons follow their normal rules for ammunition and loading but require no special mounts.
  • When raging, your Strength score counts as 26 for the purposes of handling or carrying mounted weapons.
  • If you fire a mounted weapon while raging, you can add your Strength modifier to the damage dealt.

A Living Barrage of Hate

Starting at level 14 your sheer presence turns the battlefield into a storm of gunfire.

  • While raging, you can use a bonus action to channel your fury into your firearms, causing your bullets to explode on impact. For 1 minute or until your rage ends, all Ranged weapon attacks you make deal an additional 1d6 fire or thunder damage (your choice), and creatures within 5 feet of the target take half that damage.
  • While raging, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a ranged weapon attack, you can immediately make another firearm attack as part of the same action. You can only use this feature once per turn.
  • Once per long rest, while raging with siege/mounted weapons, as an attack action you can spend your reaction and 3 pieces of ammunition to spray an area with gunfire. Choose a 60-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or take damage equal to three of your weapons damage dice + your Strength modifier. On a success, they take half damage.
    • If any suppressed creatures move into a visible tile then they suffer an attack of opportunity until the start of your next turn. (you are preventively spending your reaction to cut off an area of the battlefield and if anyone moves threw they will also take an attack)  Limit 3
