Base Class: Warlock
Your pact draws on the Astral Plane, also known as the Astral Sea, the realm of will and imagination. You forged a bargain with an Astral Dreadnought, a gargantuan predator that roams the Astral Plane and consumes anything in it's sight, transporting it's prey to the demiplane housed whitin it's belly. Your patron is insatiably hungry and aims to eat as much as it can, especially if it can feed beyond the bounds of the Astral Sea. As long as you keep it well fed, your Astral Dreadnought patron will accompany you in your journeys, since the more you travel and the more creatures you slay, the more it eats.
Level 3: Donjon Deliverance
When you reduce a creature to 0 Hit Points, you can teleport to the space occupied by the target. Also, if any creature is reduced to 0 Hit Points within a radius of 30 feet, you may use your Reaction to teleport to the location that the felled target occupied.
Additionally, as a Magic action, you may touch the body of a Dead creature and transport it to the Demiplanar Donjon of your Astral Dreadnought patron. If the body is being held by another creature, they must succeed on a Strength Saving Throw against your spell save DC to avoid the teleportation.
Level 3: Astral Dreadnought Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Astral Dreadnought Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Detect Thoughts, Hunter's Mark, Misty Step, Protection from Evil and Good |
| 5 | Counterspell, Dispel Magic |
| 7 | Banishment, Dimension Door |
| 9 | Dispel Evil and Good, Dream |
Level 6: Demiplane Depository
As a Magic action, you may touch an object no larger than 5 times your Warlock level in any dimension and instantly teleport it to the Demiplane Donjon of your Astral Dreadnought patron. If the object is being held or worn, it's user must succeed on a Strength Saving Throw against your spell save DC to avoid the teleportation.
Additionally, with no action required, you may return any object that is currently stored within the Demiplane Donjon to a point on the ground that you can see and is not occupied by any creature or other object.
Level 10: Planebound Persona
You can't forcefully leave, be banished or otherwise teleported out of the plane of existence in which you currently are.
Level 14: Astral Arcanum
In addition to the Mystic Arcanum spells you chose at Warlock levels 11 and 13, your Astral Dreadnought patron grants you knowledge about the Etherealness, Plane Shift, Antimagic Field, Astral Projection and Gate spells. However, you can only cast the Astral Projection and Gate spells using the Mystic Arcanum feature at Warlock level 17 (level 9 spells).
Also, once per Long Rest, as a Magic action, you may teleport yourself and up to eight willing creatures who link hands in a circle to the Demiplanar Donjon of your Astral Dreadnought patron. You can return to the space you previously occupied before the teleportation with no action required. Any willing creature you teleported to the Demiplanar Donjon must be holding hands with you to return.
In addition, once per Long Rest, as a Magic action, if you wish to teleport an unwilling creature that you are touching to the Demiplanar Donjon of your Astral Dreadnought patron, the target must succeed on a Charisma Saving Throw against yout spell save DC to resist the transportation. Additionally, the target can only leave the demiplane by the use of magic that enables planar travel, such as the Plane Shift spell.
